✣ All characters are reduced (or lifted up to) ordinary, healthy humans. This means that animal ears become human ears and all unit abilities as well as above-human strength, etc. are removed. However, characters who are ordinarily ill are now perfectly healthy. For characters with disabilities, it's the player's choice how this manifests, but generally speaking your character is able to get around comfortably with basically zero pain or physical discomfort.
✣ Characters have their phones! However, the only thing they can do is display a game.
✣ Characters are able to meet and interact with each other if they are in the same area, although their hangman screen is blocked by mosaics if they try to show each other the results. Any attempts to describe locations of correct or incorrect letters or other events involved with obtaining them will be censored by black boxes, a censorship beep, etc. for all parties within range who have not already obtained it as well.
Once a character leaves their starting room, their phone chimes. The screen seems to be locked to the below with no ability to make alterations or inputs:
HANGMAN
How to play: ✏ Collect secret characters to create the password to unlock the ultimate clue! ✏ Characters will be automatically added when you find them, so go explore! ✏ Collect five incorrect characters, and you get a hangman - and you lose! ✏ Certain “events” may be skipped. Instead, everything will be handled for you - isn’t that convenient?

[Zhongli wakes up in a comfortable, yet sturdy bed. At a first glance, the room seems to be fairly utilitarian, with simple, yet elegantly constructed furniture: a dresser full of modern clothing in his size, a writing desk with neatly organized pens, inks, and stationary, as well as an additional chair for a guest while he works. There are photographs framed in wood portraying Zhongli and the various members of Heart Soldier Senshi, as well as Venti and Sakura. Everyone in those photos wears regular modern clothing, and none are of occasions he could possibly recall.
Exploring his house - yes, house - will make it clear that his room is on the second floor, with a (working) master bathroom attached. Down the hall is a tea room, complete with canisters of tea leaves and powder, earthenware cups, and all manner of tea-making supplies including a burner and cast iron kettle. Should he go down the stairs to the first floor, he’ll find a simple, yet elegantly constructed living room with comfortable chairs and tables for drinks and discussion, a dining room, and a large kitchen with its own island. Much like his room, photos of various Heart Soldier Senshi and himself as well as others such as Venti, Sakura, and Izanagi can be found framed around the whole of the house. But...
Actually, on closer examination, the make of the whole house seems to be cheap and shoddy in some way. Wood is actually plastic, and on the first floor many of the cabinets and the fridge itself in the kitchen are sealed shut. The clothes are cheaply made fast fashion that wouldn’t hold up through more than a few washes, and the photos seem to be poorly printed, as though resized from the wrong resolution. Though the tea room looks impressive at first glance, the canisters contain shriveled tree leaves not intended for tea, and the earthenware is just convincingly crafted plastic. Not even the burner seems to actually work.
Should he exit the house, he’ll find that the nameplate says “Zhongli”. He may spend as much or as little time as he likes in his house, but nothing seems to happen. However, there is a street he can follow elsewhere, and if he checks on his person he'll find a wallet with a basic ID including his photo and name, as well as a fair amount of cash in yen.]
[Aether wakes up in a comfortable, if old-fashioned bed. At a first glance, the room seems to be part of an old, but well-kept building - there’s a certain elegance in the make of the furniture, with lots of richly colored wood and metal fastenings stained with age. There’s all the pieces a good room could use present: a wardrobe full of modern clothes in just his size, a writing desk with ink and pens and stationary neatly laid out, as well as an elegantly carved clock hanging on the wall. There are wooden photo frames portraying Aether and the various members of Heart Soldier Senshi, as well as Lumine. Everyone in those photos wears regular modern clothing, and none are of occasions he could possibly recall.
Exploring his house - yes, house - will make it clear that his room is on the second floor, with a (working) master bathroom attached. Down the hall is a training room complete with a worn and battered training dummy, with a variety of weapons hanging from the walls in case he feels like trying something different. Should he go down the stairs to the first floor, he’ll find a comfortable living room with leather furniture gone soft from use, a dining room, and a large kitchen with its own island. Much like his room, photos of various Heart Soldier Senshi and himself can be found framed around the whole of the house. But...

[Tsukasa wakes up in a large modern bed. At a first glance, the room seems to be luxurious - it’s large and painted a crisp white, with white and gold patterned furniture; a large wardrobe full of modern clothing in his size, a workdesk, even a small corner table and chairs for guests. There are framed photos portraying Tsukasa and the various members of avante en garde, as well as Veles and Leo. Everyone in those photos wears regular modern clothing, and none are of occasions he could possibly recall.
Exploring his house - yes, house - will make it clear that his room is on the second floor, with a (working) master bathroom attached. Down the hall is a practice studio - there’s various tools and props for performances, and an entire wall made of mirrors so he can practice. Naturally, there’s a music player present as well to play. Should he go down the stairs to the first floor, he’ll find a stately living room with elegant furniture to entertain guests, a dining room, and a large kitchen with its own island. Much like his room, photos of various avante en garde and himself, as well as others such as Veles, Leo, Yvette, and Izanagi can be found framed around the whole of the house. But...

Even the living room furniture seems to flake at the slightest touch.

[Once your character leaves their house, they find themselves in a quaint neighborhood. There are a number of houses ringing a circular road, and a single house in the center.
They can travel to the central house or head down the street to the shopping district. Personal houses lock immediately after the owner exits, but people may be let in by the owner - the knob will only unlock when the owner attempts to open the door.
You may self-navigate, but if you would like a chance to run into other player characters, feel free to comment to this top level.]
[ Please assume that Tsukasa changed into his shoddy day clothes. Please. Even in an Ideal World that isn't real, he cannot bring himself to leave his house undressed. :'|
He will glance around a little. But-- well. The Central house seems to be calling, and so he will head that way, unless otherwise stopped or followed. ]
[Approaching the center house, the exterior is a sleek, modern looking affair with white walls and black roofing. The nameplate reads “Hizumi”. Should characters step inside, they’ll find themselves on the first floor. The door immediately to the right upon entry has a sign engraved with “Guest Bedroom” hanging from the front, and appears to be locked from the inside. Otherwise, the first floor features a living room with a large flatscreen TV, couches and armchairs enough to accommodate plenty of guests, a connected dining room with a long table seating six, and a kitchen with an island and a stainless steel refrigerator and top of the line appliances. There’s a door exiting from the kitchen that seems to go to the back somewhere, but the frosted glass makes it impossible to tell what’s behind it, and the door is locked fast.
On the second floor, characters can find a locked door that seems to lead to one half of the floor and an open door that leads to no other than the master bedroom. No matter the hour, the door to the master bedroom is open and unlocked.]
[Upon opening the door, they’ll find that the room is dark, but most of it can still be made out - plush white carpets, sleek, modern furniture made of black wood with red velvet accents. There’s a tell-tale lump in the king-sized bed with some fluffy mint green hair sticking out. It seems like someone’s fast asleep.]
[No matter the time of day, the shopping district is bustling with people! ...Or at least, approximations of people. The masses all pass your character by, seemingly literally faceless, and if they try to get the attention of the people, they’ll find that the figures simply turn and head out of the way, always granting your character a wide enough berth to walk without otherwise disrupting the flow of people.
There are a few areas of interest here that characters may explore. You may self-navigate, but if you would like a chance to run into other player characters, feel free to comment to this top level.]
[The streets seem ordinary enough. There’s smaller boutiques with more alternative fashion, for characters to peruse as they wish, unless they want to continue down the streets.]
[The mall is a fairly typical one; there’s an elevator leading to other floors, along with a number of shops full of mannequins displaying all kinds of fashions, far beyond the aesthetics offered in Imeeji. Streetwear, preppy, boho, and even your cheap basics and more - all can be found in the various stores and boutiques, the shadowy apparitions of a crowd filtering in and out of stores with the leisurely pace one would expect of people enjoying a day off. Sure, there’s an abandoned storefront among the rest, empty of any merchandise with only leftover mannequins remaining, but the rest of the mall seems healthy enough.]
[The abandoned storefront is obviously anomalous and obviously will have to be investigated. Give her a moment to get over getting her neck broken and having to make some kind of nebulous deal with a disembodied voice to 'fix' it.]
[The arcade is loud and hazy with lights, a multitude of different games flashing different colors as they display the entertainment your character could be enjoying at the price of a play. They’re all sectioned off by genre: there’s a casino area with slots, pachinko, and roulettes, as well as areas for more general games like rhythm, shooters, racing, fighting, and puzzle games. Near the racing games in particular is a doorway lined with colorful lights that seems to be its own attraction, and along another wall entirely seems to be a laser tag arena.]
[The beach is cool and calm; there’s still enough warmth in the air to give off the impression of a hot, summery day giving way to the cool breeze off the sea to create an overall pleasant temperature. The moon hangs, bright and full in the air, nestled among countless stars dotting the velvety night sky. Even the ocean itself seems to have come to a rest, the waves lapping quietly against the shores intermittently.
Izanagi, for his part, is quick to remove his sneakers and socks to wander across the sands until he’s splashing in the shallows.]
Hey! The water’s still pretty warm.
[Even in the relative dark, the light from the sky is enough to illuminate his bright grin.]
[She speaks cautiously, still expecting any minute that something will go suddenly and painfully wrong. It's not quite enough to calm her. It's all just been too much, too fast - and, to add to it all, she's no longer sure what any of it was for. It doesn't seem to have made her way forward any clearer. Hasn't made it any easier to work out how she's going to get either of them - never mind the others, no doubt dragging their slow and agonizing way through their own private hells - out of there.]
It's not wrong to wish someone else could do it, sometimes.
[Despite the apparent hour, the gardens are well lit with lanterns at regular intervals, allowing the flowers to practically glow in the otherwise darkness. There’s a patch of spider lilies carefully roped off over here, wisteria blossoms shrouding a pathway there, snowdrops and cecilias dotting the grass surrounding walkways, among others. Forget-Me-Nots, azaleas, and orchids - there really is an eclectic selection of flowers to view at the otherwise quiet garden.
Izanagi walks ahead, peering curiously at the different flowers as he starts down one of the winding paths.]
They really keep them all in good condition, huh... well, shall we?
[He turns back with a soft smile, offering his hand.]

Beach
Izanagi, for his part, is quick to remove his sneakers and socks to wander across the sands until he’s splashing in the shallows.]
Hey! The water’s still pretty warm.
[Even in the relative dark, the light from the sky is enough to illuminate his bright grin.]
Re: Beach
You were right. It is nice here...

Garden
Izanagi walks ahead, peering curiously at the different flowers as he starts down one of the winding paths.]
They really keep them all in good condition, huh... well, shall we?
[He turns back with a soft smile, offering his hand.]
Re: Garden
Yes, they are all beautiful.
And all flowers of SensitIV! if I am not mistaken. Or at least - most of them.
