Nemesis and Hurricane's Ideal World: Session 3

[The sky above is a deep, unnatural crimson, filled with roiling clouds and creatures that are a sickly oil-slick black. They writhe and wriggle like something out of a Lovecraftian nightmare; they have entirely too many eyes, and entirely too many wings, and when they open their mouths, they have entirely too many teeth]
[Below them, the city of Tokyo is half-shattered; above the rooftops, mechanized suits the size of people hover in the air, darting in out of the chaos, laser blasts and explosions and wickedly sharp blades fighting tirelessly against the endless onslaught]
[Until finally, the last creature falls]
[All at once, civilians flood the streets of the city; the lights come on in all the buildings, which somehow have become whole again, safe and unharmed. A cheer goes up from the crowd. Overhead, a stunning fireworks display paints the night with light and color]
[And they all lived happily ever after]
[The end]

Re: THE HOUSE
What the FUCK was that THAT.
It wasn't the battle with the monsters that has left her looking still slightly shell-shocked (that much is easy to grasp, even without recognizing their ilk), but the sheer extent of the tech involved in that fight.
So, for the first minute or so, she's just processing the sight, not even checking her phone yet. ]
Re: THE HOUSE
Can she catch up to them in their game? ]
Re: THE HOUSE
[But they spot her coming - giggle, and point, and take off running down the path toward the Rescue, as though she's in on their game of tag]
Re: THE HOUSE
So, as long as things still seem like they're in good fun, she will continue to give chase. ]
Wait, wait— how can I play if I don't know the rules?
[ keeping her voice light and friendly, though the hope that they'll pause for her is genuine.
Important question before she proceeds further: Where does it appear that heading down the path to the "Rescue" actually goes? ]
Re: THE HOUSE
[The children, giggling harder now, don't respond to the request for rules - but she can make out a whispered, "Go, go! She's gonna catch up!" before they carry on to the rescue, bright-eyed and rosy-cheeked]

Re: THE HOUSE
[ polite head dip ]
Do you... recognize anything of this dream?
Re: THE HOUSE
Re: THE HOUSE
It's all a bit overwhelming, I admit, seeing just how different it is possible for a world to be.
Perhaps expertise as a craftswoman will be of use here, in that case. Personally, I was going to see if the children might tell me more of this place's recent history.

How good are you at tag?
