TOTAL⚓DISASTER: Anyway since I know what's going on now, I'm happy to help! It looks like the nature of the threat is a gang war between an evil thought sealed and another that you all and your fans helped to return to the world of the not-so-living? Wild!
TOTAL⚓DISASTER: In case you didn't get the memo, this means you're going to explore the combination WcDonald's and Damned Queen's Cookies!
TOTAL⚓DISASTER: There you'll find something you're looking for, probably…? But mostly you're looking for a way to contain the outbreaks!
TOTAL⚓DISASTER: And fortunately, we've received a message from a friendly entity known only as "The Borger King", who apparently has a stake in the downfall of Lonard's lost empire…
TOTAL⚓DISASTER: It says:
TOTAL⚓DISASTER: There is a war going on for your mind. Steal their secrets. Create the Ultimate Prankburger. The king awaits. Salvation will come.
TOTAL⚓DISASTER: Wow! It looks like it's time for corporate espionage, or something?
TOTAL⚓DISASTER: Anyway, you get to keep everything you find, unless it's a dolphin! That's mine.
TOTAL⚓DISASTER: Better get going! Charge!!!!!

[ And then everything goes white... ]

[ Good. Then — maybe petting? What seems to be Venti's head? And his back? Definitely kind of like how he'd pet a cat cradled against his chest, but that means it's less awkward? Maybe? Hopefully? ]

Heh, didn't get killed at all, though I came close in the ballpit. Kind of feels like our side had better luck.

[ The only one who'd ever be making a cuddle awkward is you, sir!!!! ]

How bad are your injuries?

[ Petting, then!! Non-awkwardly, apparently. ] [ Lupine might visibly argue with himself for a moment before he just says: ]

One of my ears is kind of busted.

[ He'll lift the ventisprite up so that Venti can see the dried blood on one of his ears from the burst eardrum. Hurt like a bitch when it happened, but he's managed to kind of... tune it out for a while now, more focused on everyone else. ]

[ SAY NO MORE!!!

Ventisprite hops right onto his shoulder, getting a look in his ear. It doesn't involve any tickling breath, at least, because apparently wind sprites don't need to breathe. ]

Okay, okay, hold still . . .

[ SIV POWERS ACTIVATE!!! ]

[ He feels a little guilty for a few seconds, despite his determination to not make sIVs chase him down to heal him, but then oh wow that is... such an enormous relief, tension just leaks out of his shoulders. ]

—Damn. Thanks.

[ Being on his shoulder, Venti can easily feel that droop. ]

You're welcome. ♪

[ ...Hand up to offer more pets. He will squish you back to his chest once he's sure you're not injured. ]

Yeah, yeah. How are you doing? Any damage? ...Can you heal yourself?

I'm really cold, but that's it for now . . .

I think it'll be worse when I change back.

[ Much worse . . . ]

[ —Cold, huh. ] [ Plucking off his shoulder for the squish. ]

...Can you stay in this form for a while?

Maybe. I have no control over it whatsoever!

[ Lips quirk a tiny bit. ]

Well, give me a heads-up, I guess.

[ Beat. Reconsidering. ]

—Eh. I'll catch you.
