[ The bar is unit-colored with light unit paraphernalia, although it's all just for show. Fortunately, comfort isn't part of the unit aesthetic this time—all seats are cushioned, whether the booth seats or the bar stools, comfy and lush. Idols can sit anywhere they like, it seems.

There's alcohol available, but everything else is locked behind the wall-cabinet. . . the recipe book is also available to peruse at one's leisure.

Ah—the door opens, and a fuzzy sort of shade steps in. It looks like idols will be serving the Damned, today. . . ? ]

It seems that way. As we're a fairly honest group, I don't think it'll do any harm if we all take a few drinks.

[ She lines up about a dozen drinks and proceeds to slug them all down. Between her natural metabolism and practicing with Venti, it's no problem. ] It's good practice anyway, I have a bit of a reputation that I suppose I'll have to defend at some point.

Since you can hold your liquor, if you ever want to, you should join us on one of our karaoke trips. We get BiT to bring their extra strong booze, and I do a fair amount of performing. I'm still not the most comfortable with singing, but I'm pretty good at it.

[ Peer pressure works wonders in these matters, and there are people she can't say no to. ]

My dearest sister has a far greater talent for music, but I should be able to manage without embarrassing myself too terribly.

Of course you should bring her, if she'd like to. I wouldn't mind meeting her. [ Meeting someone isn't strictly necessary to protect them with your life but it helps! ]

I didn't realize you liked music. I'm sure it's not the same as when your sister does it, but I could play for you some time, if you like. I haven't bought a cello yet, that's the one I think I'm best at, but I have a violin I'm fairly good at. [ Her technique is flawless actually, but it's only recently that she stopped being weirded out by playing enough to start putting more feeling into it. ]

Then I will ask. I can see no reason she would decline such a delightful offer.

I would often listen to her play. It was... soothing. Of course I'd be quite interested in hearing you play. If you think a cello would be a more suitable sound for your music, I would be happy to help you find one that's to your liking.

[ Little does she know what this karaoke outing is turning into without her knowledge, and she'll just be embarrassed by the whole thing (but grateful, in a quiet way, once she gets over the sudden shock). ]

I'm working up to the cello. I have some strange feelings about it, for some reason. And violins are easier to carry around.
