[dog is growling, creeping towards her, but Mars isn't moving]

[ barks a laugh but definitely trying to sidle around then without getting too close to that dog. ]

[ Stops at the growling, frowning now. ]

... you gonna call off the dog or what.

[sighs. . . and drops his hand on the dog's head, who immediately stops growling]

[ thank god. cautiously skirts around them and continues right. ]
