time to hit some things symbolically with a hammer to forge stuff and remember abandonment:

In this memory, a woman is sitting at a console, one of many people seated at similar workstations on the bridge of an enormous star cruiser. It's easy to tell that's where she is, because there's an enormous window looking out on the void of space—and also, on a battle that's raging outside between this ship and a number of smaller warships and fighters.

The Admiral, an older man in a crisply-pressed uniform, listens to her report—that something has gotten inside the ship and is destroying the engine cells from within. She gives the recommendation to surrender; however, the Admiral refuses to risk the flagship falling into Rebel hands, and initiates the self-destruct sequence. He offers to give her use of one of his escort craft as he escapes, but she says she'd rather stay to the end.

Inside, she is fuming, enraged, horrified. But no fear; she has a plan.

Also for some reason there's no Saffron? There's just this woman with very short black hair and some beauty marks that Saffron doesn't have. Weird. ]
