Or just like monsters or whatever, I guess. End of the world, blah blah.

...Or something real random, like math.

Though maybe not as dramatic of a story.

What you think for the second memory thing, though? That's the one I ain't really sure how to think about...

No. I mean, I imagine it happens in real life now and then. When you lose someone you expected to win a war for you, so you and everyone you know simply has to pick up your swords and come together...

[So he will go to buy a memory...

It's a long memory, with Hiroto sitting at a writing desk on the floor, with paperwork all around him, stacked surprisingly neatly. They are various different things- request for permission here, petitions for assistance there, some news of the area, some letters that need to be responded to.

And he sits there and does his paperwork. He keeps notes diligently, pausing now and then to budget as necessary, and he seems to do it pretty well! He's good at this, but the memory does not move on, this is just what he does for a long time. He does not seem to be done by the time the memory ends.]
