I knew the type in my world as well, though in all of my memories so far I refused to play along with the charade.

I am no longer as sure as I once was if it was the right thing to do.

I am sure you will find the answer to that. You seem to be a very determined person, Amaranth-san, so once you chase the answer down, you will be able to accept the regret and move forward.

I do not think I ever betrayed my principles, in life. But there can be a cost to that.
