What are you creating? Who can say. Only you - and only you'll know if - and when, it's good enough. The stories before you are not yours right now, but you'll make them yours soon enough.

And you will survive.

[ The townsfolk outside tell a story - they ask for salvation, to be protected from the coming storm. Only you and your compatriots can save them. An item of offense is what they need, and the story they tell reflects the refuge they seek - you need only fill in that which is left unspoken. ]

Think about something {emotion1}. That's about the only thing we have, you know. Most stories end in disaster, but mine started with {memory/event1}. I guess that gives me a unique outlook on life?

Think about something {emotion2}. It's dark and scary, yes, but sometimes you have to think about the dark and scary things. It's the only way to avoid {memory/event2}.

Think about something {emotion3}. Why? Because it'll protect you. Protect you from what? Nothing, if you're careful.

Stop thinking. Fall apart. Decompose. In the end, {memory/event3} is all that's between you and eternity. So stop thinking and laugh! You'd better make it count.

You may also share additional memories/events or emotions independent of the story to bolster your object.

Thinking about dark-and-scary things is the only way to avoid... overconfidence, maybe? Recklessness?

[ The townsfolk outside scream in terror - they are under attack! No matter how strong the item you made before was, it could never prevent the forces arrayed against this land from descending as a violent maelstrom...but all hope is not lost. With what you've made, they can fight. They need only one thing from you - an item of protection to guard against the weapon of hearts that has been brandished against them.

This time, they do not just tell you a story. They also tell you what you are facing. What you must overcome. What you must protect them - and yourself from. If your hearts are not strong enough...

...You will suffer. ]


There once was a woman who sought revenge above all else. Someone had stolen her gift to her friend and her dignity...

In time, the woman got her revenge by sealing her target, along with her own doubt in her weapon. The woman was safe, and over time she began to feel confident/shameless.

But unwilling to let her enemy go, she held onto the accursed reminder. She would never forget the devastating social awkwardness.

Not until the day she died, filled with existential uncertainty.

This is Lostworry, a legendary lightsaber. It is forged from a heart of great dread and social anxiety. It is encrusted with crystallized tears. It is engraved with an image of a dignified idol giving a gift to their friend. It exudes an exuberant aura, haunted by a spirit of confidence and shamelessness.
