It's like this writing game that kids play. There's a story, only you leave some spaces blank.

Usually, you can't see the rest of the story, you only get asked for the words to go in there. Then when you read it back, it's real funny cause it don't make much sense.

...mostly it's the blanks that made me think of it.

So we are to offer emotions and memories to this unfinished story, and that in turn will complete it.

Though it seems we are fortunate enough to have some structure, so at least our story could make sense.

It appears that this is meant to be a cautionary tale - so I do believe we should strive for some sort of cohesion.

If you are implying that many of us have lived through the scenario described in this tale, then yes. I do believe we have it all covered.

Now it is just a matter of leaving some hope for those that follow.

In talking with Alisaie, we were discussing if our weapon of offense should be a ballista or a siege weapon. Something that is powerful but can be used and operated in a group by many instead of relying on the special qualities of one individual.

Yes, they are long ranged artillery usually strategically placed to pin down your enemies well before they get in range of attacking.

And do not worry, I believe myself or the twins could handle the aiming if you wish to do more of the scouting.
