HEARTFORGE - BARiTONES (Session 5)

You are in the heart of a massive forge. In front of you are tools, and your objective is clear - to use them to channel the strength of your heart and create.

What are you creating? Who can say. Only you - and only you'll know if - and when, it's good enough. The stories before you are not yours right now, but you'll make them yours soon enough.

And you will survive.

I'll ask you what I asked Alexander; what would be an effective shield against all those emotions?

A counter to something made out of bravery and selfless love? Would it not be hate so powerful to take down the entire world with it?

Rather than defending, destroying. For the sake of it.

Personal experience talking?

Yes, but isn't it the most logical choice to oppose it with? At the end of the day, no matter what fairytales may say, hate is far stronger.

Hm... I think the strength of will of the one feeling emotions has more to do with their effectiveness than the emotions themselves.

Hate may be strength to someone, but so can love. Even obsession can be overwhelming in the right, or perhaps wrong, hands. Spite or kindness, neither can be effective unless the one feeling them has the strength to move.

What I mean is that while I do not necessarily agree, I do not find your experience invalid.

Mmm ...

I do suppose at the end of the days, all emotions are fleeting. Perhaps hate simply stings more, and it's easier to remember when you're hurting.

Hate is a useful tool. Whatever can help galvanize you is useful, worth appreciating. But I also find it... tiring. It takes a great deal of energy to burn so hotly.

And in the end it also is as pointless as these people's story. Quite ironic, mm?

I wonder. No emotion is pointless, though many are fruitless.
