[oof-- that's too up close and personal to dodge, so Mars attempts to lift his arms to defend instead. but with a failed strength roll (3 5 6) he's taking the kick straight to the gut, heels digging into the ground as it pushes him back and the vibrations course through his armor. 5 damage, minus one for being henshined up]

[exchanging blows like this will only get them so far, soooo instead of making another attack? Mars attempts to snatch at Man Eater's leg after the kick connects and shove him into the nearest foxhole. a good strategics roll (1 2 5) means success without a dodge! no damage, tho]
[ Mars does manage to grab hold of his leg (at which Man☆Eater gives a startled yelp) and shove him hurtling towards the foxhole—however, this doesn't account for one very important fact.

Man☆Eater catches himself just as he starts falling down the foxhole with Verticality (negates all fall damage), and continues rising up and up into the air until he's out of short-distance range altogether ]
