[ The map seems to be a map of...not the entire building, but at least this room, the hallway past the wooden door, and the room the hallway connects to? It shows the rooms in profile, from the side, so it's not actually particularly helpful.

Notably, though, the hallway seems to connect to the next room in such a way that there's a very significant drop - in other words, the room after the hallway seems inaccessible without falling to one's death.

Also, this room seems a lot bigger on the map than it actually looks. To the east is a ledge that you don't actually see when looking in that direction. Above the ledge is what seems to be some kind of cistern. ]

Right, so... I know we want to get out of here, but there's too much information to turn away from. We have to investigate.

Maybe we go to the other end of the room, it's hard to see but it looks like equipment of some kind, maybe some of it's helpful.

[ she wants to get out of this room as quickly as possible, just flee like the wind, but she's still not great with these wings and even if she was, there's no way she'd be able to lift Hardy ]

OK, that all makes sense to me. The crowbar has multiple uses and the lamp could be helpful for exploring. Now let's see...

[ It seems to be some kind of dairy? The handwriting is...frantic. It's mostly a bunch of character essays about people you've never heard of, but some of whom seem to be described as if they were on WILD CITY? Later pages include various occult diagrams, apparently sourced from the internet, including a summoning ritual for precious things. The last few pages just repeat the words "I LOVE THEM" over and over again until the writer runs out of room. ]

They're trying to freak us out... This thing is straight out of a horror movie. I think the implication is the bodies are... people we've known. And if I'm reading these weird diagrams right, we might have been "summoned" by whatever happened in here. I think one of the circles in the book matches what's on the floor.

But, it's — aren't these all just … [ Stops herself. Shakes her head. ] … I don't really understand, but … there'll be time for that later. We need to focus. So ...

[he shakes his head and winces again, feeling less great every minute]

Agreed. It looked like there was space on the map that way that wasn't obvious.

[ You are staring at a wall. Water and blood seems to be pooling here, flowing from...somewhere? The sound of rushing water is even louder in this part of the room than anywhere else. ]

Along with the water, some sort of white cloudy gas begins to seep into the room. It comes quickly enough that it's hard to avoid it, breathing it in once caught is almost unavoidable. The gas burns your lungs and clouds your vision, and surely it would kill anyone caught in the cloud for too long, but it quickly dissolves into the water pooling around you and no more is released:

KORONE and anyone who does not get out of the way of the gas cloud suffers the following:

- Coughing fits
- Burning in lungs/chest
- Dizziness
- Exposed skin becomes irritated

[ aaaa WHAT WAIT WHAT IS THIS, she tries real hard to backpedal out of the way, but she's not fast enough ]

It ... it must've been ... [ leans back into his support gratefully as the coughing fit passes, her head spinning ]

Just focus on breathing. I'll... try to figure out where we go from here. As far as I can tell right now... there's that big suspicious button and the door we haven't gone through but it might be a dead end...

Oh. It feels like my hands and feet are falling asleep. That can't be good.

Maybe they'll be okay if we keep moving. Like when they fall asleep normally and you've gotta move them to get the blood flowing again ... [ it's weak, but she's got nothing else ]
