Because you both want to win for you units to protect them. I don't think he's suited for this kind of game for the same reason. You both might even be good at it, but it doesn't make it right for you guys.

And besides, isn't "surviving" a part of this game? Putting yourself and yours above all others... I'm perfectly suited for that.

Only because I'm selfish. ... I dragged everyone around with me last round because I was selfish, and then they all died. I survived, though. So I guess I really am suited for survival.

his eyes shift down, not really because he's trying to avoid... well, no it's also because of that, but he has to. piece everything together in a way that makes sense, and in a way that he can actually share with Phoenix. ]

Last round I was with Lucifel, Lavender, and Yasuragi. ... we tried to find a place to lie low, but we ended up getting into a fight. We probably would have never gotten into that fight in the first place if we-- sensitIV-- hadn't killed that one girl the round before that, but hell if I know-- [ ... god he didn't want to get upset again but here he is ]

Yasuragi shot at them first, and all I remember after that is a fight and the next thing I knew Lucifel and Yasuragi were dead. I don't know what happened to Lavender but I'm sure he died too.

[ so as it turns out he's actually pretty shit at protecting everyone ]
