You awaken slowly, laying in the middle of a cold, hard stone floor … and realise that you have absolutely no idea where you are, how you got here, and who any of these people are.

[ Hell no, let's get the shiny thing! RIP her face which will sting like hell. ]

Yeah, that probably stings. Ow.

It's a locker key!

[ Yay! Now dragging her soggy ass to the lockers and applying the key to whichever one she gets to first on her way from the pool. ]

You apply the key!

...

But it seems this locker was already unlocked. It contains a box of energy bars, a fresh pear, a pocket knife, and a wallet.

[ Checking out the wallet. Anything fun in here? ]

You open the wallet, and find that it's empty save for a photograph of a beautiful woman in her mid-thirties, with glossy black hair, grey eyes, and a gentle smile. Something is written on the back.

[ ooh pretty lady. What's on the back? ]

Three words:

"DO IT FOR HER."

[ yes ma'am! ]

[ Trillian pockets the knife and the picture and as many energy bars as she's allowed to carry then moves to the next locker down the line and tries to open it, either just by tugging or with the key. ]

This locker is also unlocked! It's filled to the brim with fluffy towels.

[ She proceeds to shake out all the folded towels because chaos gremlin ]

There are so many of them. So many. That's SO MUCH LAUNDRY RUINED.

And there's still one locker left.

[ You're welcome! ]

[ Last locker! Surely this one will need the key? Opening it then! ]

This locker was also unlocked ... and, it's empty!

But when you turn the key, a click echoes through the room. The entire set of lockers creaks open by a centimeter or two — you've found a secret door!

[ Secret door secret door! She tries her best to shove it open. ]

You spot something glinting inside the safe-room … but before you can investigate, a huge, awful, hairy spider the size of a dog leaps for your face, snapping its pincers.

[ EW GROSS ]

[ Luckily she's pretty damn quick, so she yanks out the pocket knife she stole from the locker and flips it open and tries to STAB THE SPIDER IN THE EYE ]

The spider is SPEEDY and NIMBLE. You graze its carapace with your knife, hard enough that it cracks open a little -

But it jump-scuttles out of the way and whips around, clamping its hideous jaws around your ankle.

[ OW you ugly piece of ]

[ Going to do some double attack action here, jamming the knife into the crack and then stomping down on the knife with her free foot so it gets in there to the squishy parts. ]

You may never be 100% sure how or why this happens but

The spider suplexes you.

[ wow what the hell?? ]

[ She tries to land on it then, with her weight and strength in her elbow to crunch it? Where is her knife, can she yank it out and stab the thing some more? Trying to do that. ]

It evades your every attempt to crush it, and it has somehow managed to wrangle the knife into its jaws, the pointy business end aimed right at you as it CHARGES with no small amount of enthusiasm. You have been non-fatally but very painfully KNIFED BY A SPIDER.

[ ........that's so goddamn rude ]

[ Fine she's done playing Ms. Nice Vampire, while the spider is knifing her she tries to get her hand into the crack in its shell or whatever to rip it open, also using her fangs to bite it in the face. SEE HOW YOU LIKE IT. ]

she doesn't know but she's going to hit the spider with the umbrella. ]

It's holding the knife with its big ol' mouth pincers so biting it in the face is not going to end great for you, it jerks its head and slices you hard across the cheek!

But between the PRYING AT ITS SHELL and being smacked with an umbrella, it drops the knife, flailing its legs and chomping wildly at you both with its horribly sharp pincers. The shell is tough but it's starting to slowly crack and bleed.
