[ Back up the stairs to the office then, and into the basement landing, where she'll go examine the elevator. Is there a button to press? ]

The elevator door may be filthy and rusted, but it's positively futuristic compared to everything you've seen here so far. It even has a schmancy-pants fingerprint scanner! … If you can find it under the thick layer of grime.

What do you mean? You're the one who thought to look in the fridge and found a secret passageway, though. I don't think I would have thought to find that. You also know what a gun is and how to use it.

But that only led to the lake that probably would have killed us, so I'm not sure it was very useful. Hopefully this thing takes us somewhere we can find a way out. And extra hopefully we won't have to use the gun on anything.
