You spot something glinting inside the safe-room … but before you can investigate, a huge, awful, hairy spider the size of a dog leaps for your face, snapping its pincers.

[STABS IT WITH THE POCKET KNIFE UNTIL IT STOPS MOVING]

The pocket knife simply glances off it's tough carapace, this spider will not be killed so easily it seems.

Which means if you don't move it's pincers are sinking right into your face, ow.

-why is he now holding a steel fan. Not complaining but that's weird.

Whacks it away from him. It should be noted that he is holding a lot of hatred for this spider right now, thank you Heart Weapon.]

The steel fan does a lot of damage, the spider is knocked off his head, it's pincers slicing his cheeks in the process, but it is now lying prone on the floor with it's soft squishy underbelly exposed.

The spider, knowing this is a dangerous position to be in, flails and attempts to sweep his legs so he falls back in the pool.
