Flowers of Heaven 2: sensitIV

Something nudges at your ankles.

When you look down, you see you’re being headbutted by… a number of fluffy white, red-eyed rabbits that, unsettlingly, seem to have small human hands for front paws. They nuzzle your ankles like you're old friends, and they're doing their best to herd you toward a gap that's opened in the thick curtain of kudzu vines and onto a winding path beyond.

Once you cross through, the vines grow rapidly to cover the open space behind you, and the voices of your fellow idols fade from your ears. It seems as if you’re on your own, now.

Here, the vines that surround your path are intertwined with clippings of lace, some of which seem to be stained red in places.

It seems the rabbits are carrying some things for you: a collection of sixteen different flowers, and a small lantern of blue flame, and a wreath woven from lotus, water lily, and alyssum.

...Well, as long as you're alright...

Are you opposed to Eirene wearing the crown so we can burn Hollyhock and Aconite?

Sure.

Oh, but maybe we should burn a few more flowers. If we can increase the votes on flowers that don't belong to us or are otherwise protected, we might be able to rig the numbers more to our favor.

You know we need to have three flowers left to burn for the round after this, right?

Right, right, so we shouldn't burn all of them—but there were more flowers burned than strictly necessary, which means there was a tie, right? Actually, it might even be possible that our votes on Gorse and Wild Oats are why those got burned in the first place.

So if we favor burning the flowers we don't have, we can tilt the numbers. At best, we might be able to slide one of our flowers out of being tied with others—

And at worst, we'll be making other people's flowers burn, which gives us a better chance at winning.
