Flowers of Heaven 2: sensitIV
Something nudges at your ankles.
When you look down, you see you’re being headbutted by… a number of fluffy white, red-eyed rabbits that, unsettlingly, seem to have small human hands for front paws. They nuzzle your ankles like you're old friends, and they're doing their best to herd you toward a gap that's opened in the thick curtain of kudzu vines and onto a winding path beyond.
Once you cross through, the vines grow rapidly to cover the open space behind you, and the voices of your fellow idols fade from your ears. It seems as if you’re on your own, now.

Here, the vines that surround your path are intertwined with clippings of lace, some of which seem to be stained red in places.
It seems the rabbits are carrying some things for you: a collection of sixteen different flowers, and a small lantern of blue flame, and a wreath woven from lotus, water lily, and alyssum.

Now, we'll have to choose our paths.
On the left, there's a bright gate—it shines like a rainbow.
On the right, there's a dark gate—it's black and twisted.
Further, but in the center, there's a gate made of fire—it's really hot, so be careful if you go through it.

[On one hand the purifying aspect feels kind of nice but on the other hand, ew hot. Bright shiny sounds pretty, but darkness is his frie- wait, why is he a fan of more shadowy places, again??

Basically in things like religions there are choices between "light" and "dark", which is what the left and right gates seem like to me. You could even go further to say the light gate is the "good end" and the dark gate is the "bad end". But then, at the same time, given that "heaven" is just another "hell" here, maybe we're supposed to try picking between hells?
So, isn't it most interesting to go through the center door?
