[ The room is plain, white walls and white ceiling, except for the steel-panel flooring. There are three metal stands rising out of openings in the floor, each of which carries a glass vial on top. One of them just holds water. Of the remaining two, one contains a dark red, opaque liquid with a creamy consistency; the next is a relaxing blue, with small brightly glittering star-like orbs drifting through it.

Both have fancy but identical cast iron stoppers moulded in the shape of a shark plugging them shut. The only difference is that the red vial's shark is painted white, and the blue vial's shark is painted black. ]

No, we can send the water and destroy the poison. But The Perfected Lord who Retains the Clouds by Borrowing the Wind is new and we have someone from another team, so we shouldn't be asking them to do anything that endangers them.

I'm not really fine with poisoning people...someone has to get poisoned for the game to end, but it'd be a miracle if nobody does get poisoned no matter how we play. We'd only need to poison someone to win, and we only need to win if we're worried we'll be poisoned.

Right. Erm... three vials; one is poison, one is antidote, and one is just water. We choose one to keep, and one to send to another unit, but if we keep the antidote, we have to send poison, and the third one's discarded.

D'you get all that?

I don't really relish the idea of poisoning anyone, but I'd probably prefer to not be poisoned if I'm entirely honest. But I don't know where I'd prefer to send something like that to.

Suppose part of the calculation is whether anyone's going to try and poison us. But if you're worried about self-defense, you're going to have to make someone a little mad eventually. Why not start now?

Logically, if we want to protect ourselves or to win. But it does mean having to pick someone to poison, which is usually the sticking point for most people.

Someone's got to drink the vials after we get some from other people, I suppose, and then whoever manages to poison someone wins and it keeps going until someone does.
