Each card has a challenge. If you refuse to perform the challenge, you must take a drink.
If you really do not want to play, you may forfeit. However, you will not be eligible to turn in your score for that session at the end.
No cheating. Some cards specifically ask the player to conceal the card until after an action is performed. However, you may not conceal your card in an attempt to avoid the challenge. If you do, you will be magically compelled to show the card AND take a drink. Similarly, if you lie during a challenge in order to avoid drinks or make someone else drink, you will be magically compelled to drink regardless of what the challenge was.
OOC NOTES
Powers are on, player items are available.
Drinks may be alcoholic or non-alcoholic. All types of drinks are provided, so pick whatever you'd like. Alcoholic drinks may cause loss of inhibition, but that's not magic. That's just how alcohol works.
No significant harm may come to other characters. Minor/sexy injuries are allowed, but if characters try to injure each other for real, they will find themselves magically unable to do so. For example, if a character tries to stab someone, the knife will suddenly (and permanently) turn into a harmless foam knife. Someone who uses a power to cause harm will suddenly find the power stops working mid-strike. A gun fired at another character will suddenly jam, etc.
Spirits and gods seem... not impossible to me, but like something that's pretty out there. I'm not even sure what to picture. Guess anything can seem alien for the right person.
That makes sense, since a lot of us treat technology the same way.
I'm from Japan. I don't know if I'm from Tokyo or what, but I'm familiar with certain stuff, even without memories. Me and a bunch of people here come from the same world, they'd probably know more. Oh, and I was an idol there too apparently, but it was legit and not messed up like it is here.
Amaranth, I'm Reed✩Radiant from ✩ZRAEL. It's nice to meet you.
[doing a slight bow because manners seem appropriate right now]
[ wait. THIS KID is a zrael? he's so soft though?? is that legal? ]
And you in turn, Reed Radiant. It's good to see Aradia has gained such good-natured younger sibling.
—In truth, I admit this place was my first exposure to "idols" as anything but, well, religious relics. However, young Tsukasa, of my own unit, is an "idol" in the sense of being a professional performing artist. Is that what it means to you as well?
[he makes no sense as a zrael until you see what an absolute gremlin he can be and even then it's confusing]
Yep, that's what I meant. Actually, Kathy--er, Tsukasa--and I come from the same place and competed as idols there too. That's what he told me. We're not the only ones from our world here either.
Re: Round 1
Re: Round 1
And what of your own world? Even if you cannot recall your life there, perhaps you know its name, and something of its nature?
[ pause ]
—I am called Amaranth, of the unit avante en garde, by the way. [ polite head dip ]
