Note: please be as cryptic as possible regarding any specific actions your character takes when discussing them in the game channel to avoid influencing everyone else!
Then, let's take this path. Be careful not to trip up with the roots.
[He stops right before leaving the clearing, to look back at the tree once more... A beat passes, then two, and then turns his back on it and walks on with, well, determination.
He seems to know his way around the forest, and takes care to match her speed. Soon enough they've reached the river. It's already dark, obviously, but the river reflects the light of the moon so there's that, at least!
[They walk carefully, and make it safely out of the woods!
Once they're outside, they can see the main road become a bridge and cross the river not far away from where they are. But the mountain is on the opposite side of the river, so that's little more than a random fact.
[Annnd off they go! Everything continues being beautiful, too beautiful, but also having a very different feel to VR due to how hyperrealistic it is.
They walk and walk, following the river upstream, holding hands for some reason, until they finally come face to face with the mountains-- and with the entrance to the cave.
(Please ignore the Kirito in the picture, Kirito is not here.) Also, they can see their own breathing by now. That's how cold it is. In fact, Eugeo looks a little worried when he notices and lets go of his hand to take off his scarf again.]
[He walks away for a moment, searching for something on the ground! And as he does this, Yuuki's vision blurs. Suddenly it's daytime, and she finds herself watching a slightly different scene...
“Wait, Eugeo…What are we going to do about light?” Kirito asks, and Eugeo says he has it under control. He lifts up a stalk of grass, and chants:
“System Call! Lit Small Rod!”
The tip of the stalk of grass in Eugeo’s hand starts to glow. Once he is done, it has enough pale bluish light to illuminate a few yards ahead. He heads farther into the cave.
Kirito races to catch up alongside him. “Eu-Eugeo…what was that?”
Eugeo squints at him sternly, but there's a hint of pride tugging at his mouth. “A sacred art—a very easy one. I had to practice it a whole lot two years ago when I decided to come and get the Blue Rose Sword.”
“Sacred art…But…do you know the meaning of those words? Like system and rod…”
“Meaning? There’s no meaning; they’re just spellwords. They’re words you say to beseech God and receive a miraculous blessing..."
They disappear inside the cave, and their words fade.]
Yuuki? Are you coming?
[Eugeo is waiting for her in front of the cave, a glowing stalk of grass in his hand.]
