Mori's heart
All at once a rainbow of bright lights feels as if it is bursting through you. It is an intense experience, but not an unpleasant one. As the colours burn through your skin, and lighting begins to spark through your veins, you feel stronger, you could take on the world right now.
Faintly in the distance, beyond the iridescent light show that overwhelms your vision, you can just about make out some silhouettes, but they’re too blurred, too indistinct and too far to tell anything about them. You can’t see them, but you know they’re welcoming you. You’re wanted here, you’re needed here, and the light is guiding you where you’re meant to go.

-no matter what no matter what no matter what no matter what-
and the edges of your vision begin to blur. Colour slowly drains away from the machine, and behind you you can feel the eyes of the crowd, now dead silent, burning a hole in your back.

You feel an urge to play the game. You have to. There's no other choice, you can't take your eyes away from the screen, even though you don't intend to, your legs start moving closer towards it.

[ Approaching the game to... play... ]
Re: Game room
It looked like a simple 2D arcade game, but once you begin playing it you shift into a kind of virtual reality simulator. You are now playing The House of Mirth.
You enter the catacombs. It is what it is: a massive underground graveyard, and a mass graveyard. Both! There are several offshoots that presumably lead to coffins, tight niches in the wall like drawers meant to shut away human corpses; but far more distracting is the wall of skulls directly in front of you. Countless skulls, all human in various stages of fossilization, some of them broken or cracked or split completely in half while others are intact, but regardless . . . . it's creepy. It's too creepy. Are the skulls following your gaze? No way. . . . there's no way. Skulls don't have eyes in those empty sockets. Just remember, there's no way.
Your party members, Hiryuu and Hurricane are with you. Your job is to challenge people to games in which the loser dies. They are both eager to get started! Despite what happened in the original game, there is no ghost possessing you or compulsion to act, just the knowledge deep inside of you that it's the best thing to do. You should join them. You should make sure to put on a good show. You would be so good if you did that. Don't you want to be good?

[ What happens if you push for a tie though. ]
Re: Game room
"...ike family, right? We can share this."
"Yeah. Let's do this, sis."
You can hear voices in the next room, if they go off, they'll surely challenge and kill someone. Will you help them?
Re: Game room
Guys? Can't we just avoid people instead?
