[ You have fallen onto a noisy street. After all the cold, the silence, the cacophony of city sounds blankets your ears muffles that feeling of abandonment. The street is dirty, and neon all around you advertises: Gambling! Fight pits! Come get your money's worth, restaurants, bars. They demand attention, and you could walk into any one of them.
Or, you might notice the alley ways before you enter. On the ground there's bodies: chalk outlines around those twisted at strange angles. Like crime scene photos, but you know how you got here. And if you look at the bodies too long, you can see the echo: shadows that are pale rather than darker, of missing wings upon their back.
The crowds on the street take no notice of you, or those bodies. ]

His tongue grows back.
Aries also might now be a little inebriated, I don't know what his alcohol tolerance is. ]
Re: A Bar
Who the hell are you and why should we tell you anything?
Re: A Bar
he makes a noise like 'ahhhwhhh' and shudders a little at the feeling of his tongue growing back, blinks, coughs, and then reaches into his mouth to pull the silk bindings off his tongue]
Eergh... ugh. Bleh.
Thanks.

Re: A Bar
Our teammate got here one day ago and doesn't know anything, so she has yet to learn when to keep her mouth shut! Please ignore her.
Re: A Bar
[ He says, in apparently agreement with the "eergh bleh" commentary.
As for Ryuko and Talon: ]
See that she learns. I hoped you had come to me to give me a little more use than what I could take from a punching bag.

Re: A Bar
Re: A Bar
He's some big shot demon guy I think? We killed a bunch of people in a house with his picture in it a while ago.
Re: A Bar
Re: A Bar
To Talon and Silver: ]
A mistake? There was a blip in the power last night, followed by four of you being set on my metaphorical doorstep. You don't want to tell me this was your mistake. How about you do a little better than that with your explanation.
Re: A Bar
Aaah? Who knows whose fault it is. Some dumbass on our end left the door open a little, so we stepped out. We wanted to come say hello to the guys keeping us locked up.
Is that you?
Re: A Bar
We do not know whose mistake it was. There was a noise that awoke us, and so we went to investigate.
As you can see, we are here now. But prior to your arrival, we were trying to find a way to return to the city you and yours have been keeping us in without drawing attention to ourselves. I doubt you would want anyone to know subjects from your pet project had wandered away, after all.
Re: A Bar
If you're the big shot in charge here, shouldn't you know? And while we're at it, are you the guy I can file a complaint with?
Re: A Bar
Like Talon said, we wound up here probably during that blip, but with no way to get back. You got called because we were trying to find our way to someone who could get us back where we belong.
Re: A Bar
[ He takes no real heed of Aries threat, or Coyote trying to file a complaint. He takes two business cards out of his pocket and puts it on the mirror, sliding one across each to Silver and Talon. ]
Should you remember anything you want to tell me. The exit is there.
[ He flicks one wrist at the door. ]
Re: A Bar
Aa, I'll keep that in mind. Just to be sure though...what info is of interest to you? I don't want to waste your time more than we already have.
Re: A Bar
frowns, going quiet, doesn't say anything, though he watches the cards pensively]
Re: A Bar
Re: A Bar
And so he stands, waiting to hear the answer to Silver's question. ]
Coyote, we will explain at home. This is poor timing for this conversation.
Re: A Bar
[ He says to Silver, sardonically encouraging, leaning forwards and resting his chin on his folded hands. ]
You'll do fine. You're clever enough to avoid the obvious pitfalls, you won't fall into one here.
Re: A Bar
And I'm guessing if we had any information for you, you'd be happy to answer a couple things within reason for us?
Re: A Bar
Re: A Bar
gets to his feet instead, but waiting on Silver]
