Pretty Pretty Princess Group 6

As predicted, the clock chimes ten--anyone who is still milling around will find themselves inexorably drawn to the seat with their name plate sitting in front of it. At this table, the plates, cups and food spread across the place setting vanish. In their places appears a board. Simultaneously, the locks of both chests pop and the lids creak open and players will find their phone screens populating with the game rules.

[Maki goes first. She rolls a 4, and pulls a ring from the box and slides it on, her expression turning into a faint smile.]

An early lead. Not too bad.

[ he rolls a 2 and removes a brooch. as soon as he affixes it to his jacket he frowns, throwing his head aside with an agitated sigh to start fanning himself. it's hot in here, right, because he's already feeling faint. ]

Is the game almost over? I can't take much more of this.

...It just started. You can't even handle this much?

It has only started.

[Sekhmet rolls a 1, and puts on the lipstick- and she doesn't know what that means, but she feels something pass over her.]

Ah, this won't be a normal board game. I'm worried.

[ rolls a 5; the perfume would seem nice and safe, but

coughs, a bit; a few petals come out of his mouth as he does ]

-- I'm getting a sense of that.

I- I can't totally handle this! [ stands up all of a sudden, but then plops back in his seat and huffs to himself. ] I- I can't handle this I know I can. It's just so hot.

[Winces a little. As she thought.]

Oh dear.

O- Oh no! Are you alright?!

[ fretting. FRETTING! ]

It seems --

[ cough, more petals fly out ]

[Maki rolls a 5, and with zero hesitation reaches out to grab and put on the submission collar.

Once it's on she looks pretty uncomfortable, though. And turns to Yugi.]

Can I do anything to help...?

I- I'm not sure. [ can't stop won't stop fretting. ] But this just isn't- he shouldn't- [ he doesn't manage to form a complete sentence, but he does take the dice for a roll. he said he's fine, right? ]

We should really do something though? Back rub, maybe, since he's coughing... [ concerned look to maki as he grabs the nail polish. don't mind him suddenly getting covered in squirrels and other small woodland creatures. ] O- Oh, hello?

I am uncomfortable with what seems to be happening with us.

[She rolls a six, and takes the eyeshadow and... oh. Okay. Suddenly everybody's face blurs.]

Ah, damn- now I can't tell any of you apart.

I truly don't require any [ -- cough, cough -- ] backrubs. As annoying as this is, it seems harmless enough.

[ ROLLS A 1, sliding on a ring ]

[Maki pats his back a few times anyway.]

-- this is very odd.

W- What?! [ startles all the squirrels. ] You can't?! But I- And they- [ whiiiines. ]

[Maki rolls a 3, and pulls a necklace from the box, this time.

As she fastens it, everyone is treated to a memory from the princess maker game, in which Maki beats up some kids in an alley so their 'daughter' doesn't have to.]

I know, it bothers me too. It's, um. I hate that this is happening to me. I can tell who you are from your voice, though.

That's one way to put it. The drinks vanished... I wonder what else I can do. There has to be something.

[ oh. ]

[ oh. ]

[ don't mind him, he's just going to faint. ]

[ that was a lot, ok! his little animal friends are going to take some of the petals absinthe has coughed up and use them to fan yugi until he comes to. ]

We'll just have to announce ourselves every time.

[ as soon as he's feeling a bit better BECAUSE OH MY he's going to grab the dice and roll a 5. lands on another blue square and puts on a set of earrings. ]

I'm sorry about that... [ she shakes his head. ] She was lucky to have somebody like you.

I shouldn't even be this forthcoming about being afraid. Gods, they're messing with my mind...

[Sekhmet rolls a one! And she takes the crown, placing it on her head, and immediately- a smirk.]

O-Oh my. This feels good.
