[ The elevator opens up to a room spacious enough to house the whole unit comfortably, but with no furniture to speak of except a touchscreen podium near the far wall, displaying a row of four larger-than-life mahjong tiles on a red background. On the left side of the screen is a square that says TRADE. The walls and floor of the room are nearly checkered with metal panels, out of place against the rest of the marble flooring and unremarkable off-white walls.

It might have just been one unit.

Loki-san, our tile was accepted - it was a seven, after all. Two units had their tongues severed.

There's a fifty percent chance that the second unit was us.

... we didn't get hit, so it probably was.

But we have that 8 tile right now. Someone definitely played higher than us, and more than that at least two units got their tiles in against HSS.

No, at worst, it could be that all of these units were randomized. It's possible that the units we chose also targeted us, after all.
