Castle Game: pep!pep!
[Suddenly, you hear the wailing of a horn. Outside, tension is turning to panic. You can't see anything, but you can hear people gathering up their things, sobbing in fear or speaking in harsh whispers. A lone voice calls from the distance:
The enemy approaches!
Upon the map, an unfamiliar geography appears -- several small nations, clustered together. Outside of them, an endless sea of enemy forces, identified only by a symbol of a cracked skull. Each of the small nations is marked with a flag in one unit's colour, and a tiny model of a castle.
You are at war. How will you protect your people and yourself?

[She stays silent for what feels, to her, like a long time, and she squeezes Yugi's hand before she speaks again.]
I can't tell you not to, Yugi-kun. But... if it helps at all, I know Levi-kun wants Heart Soldier safe just as much as you do. And he's fighting for them right now. I know it.

[ now it's his turn to be silent. he feels like he's betraying the promise he made to himself. that no matter what he'd push for king. but... she's right. levi will... he'll protect them. but what if he doesn't. he swallows, his breathes becoming a bit shorter. ]
I... I know you, Cobalt, and Sunshine care for Thorn, so if that's what the three of you want, then I... I won't object. We can send the additional resource to Bad End in the hopes that SensitIV will help protect HSS.

[The question mark it is, lying snugly in the hollow of her palm. Wednesday slips it back on before fully opening the other, fastening that.
[It helps, to have something else to think about...
[And it doesn't feel right, not for a moment: but it wouldn't have felt right whatever she'd seen.]
