Castle Game: future is now

[Suddenly, you hear the wailing of a horn. Outside, tension is turning to panic. You can't see anything, but you can hear people gathering up their things, sobbing in fear or speaking in harsh whispers. A lone voice calls from the distance:

The enemy approaches!

Upon the map, an unfamiliar geography appears -- several small nations, clustered together. Outside of them, an endless sea of enemy forces, identified only by a symbol of a cracked skull. Each of the small nations is marked with a flag in one unit's colour, and a tiny model of a castle.

You are at war. How will you protect your people and yourself?

Nostalgia, Angel?

Hmm . . . yes, I think so.

Good memories? Bad?

The nicest ones.

What are those like?

Sometimes when you think of the memory, you feel this nice feeling inside your chest and it's kinda like um . . .

Swoooosshhh whoooaa aaaaaa wowwwweeee warm warm nice nice fluffy fluffy like that!

Silence was asking about the substance of the memory.

Oh! Well one time my brother tried to steal the kingdom and another time someone said they stole my kingdom and then when I was little, my father would make the kingdom very miserable and unhappy.

You said these were the nicest memories.

I guess those were kind of bad, huh!

But somehow, I still have a fuzzy feeling when I think about the kingdom . . . it wasn't very fancy, actually we were poor as dirt and only had a bowl of fruit, but I'm still glad I remember something I loved so in some ways, they're nice!
