3 WAY PRISONER'S DILEMMA: BAD END=DEAD END
[ The room you wake up in is barren. The floor, walls, and ceiling are all metal, and the only furnishings are a large television-sized touchscreen monitor and a massive pane of glass cutting through the room, separating Prisoner from the rest of the unit. You can beat against the glass as much as you like, but it won't break. Both the touchscreen monitor and the elevator doors are on the same side of the room as everyone but the hostage.
Once Mukuro finishes his intro spiel, the monitor display switches to a catalogue of pictures of flowers, each with their name, associated meaning, and a checkbox underneath them: ]

...Boss?
Re: DISCUSSION
[for now]
Just a little disgusted by the irony.
Re: DISCUSSION
Someone has a sick sense of it, that's for sure.

[ Sanguine's fists are balled up tightly at his sides. ]
...We'll get you out of this.
Re: DISCUSSION
Don't worry about what happens here. Worry more about what happens after.
Re: DISCUSSION
[ Sanguine takes a deep breath and expels it slowly. ]
....We've got to strategize. Try to figure out who we're paired with, if we can. If we can trust them.

Well, what'll it be? You're the one stuck in the box so only fair your opinion gets more weight. What's your goal?
Re: DISCUSSION
I have a preference for no betrayals on our side.
[super aware how bad that can go BUT.]
Re: DISCUSSION
Re: DISCUSSION
Try signaling who's prisoner here first. Put a warning, if you have to, but there shouldn't be decisions made on the first round.

Would be bad for the ratings if they did something too bad to him.
Re: DISCUSSION
Re: DISCUSSION
So now the question is how do we play? Looks like the thing they are pointing us to avoid is the 'never be the same again'. For ourselves we can guarantee that won't happen by betraying both teams and only take the severe consequence. However, if one of them trusts us that will only backfire on them. We can make it obvious that is what we are going to do. That hands out severe all around.
Believing everyone will trust everyone else is a pipe dream. I can think of three teams at least that won't.
If we want to save others, we trust them knowing that Boss will take the worst of it. And by 'we', I mean that's Boss' choice.
Re: DISCUSSION
Those were my thoughts too. I want to trust everyone but this isn't something we're deciding on for me, I wouldn't mind the consequence of it.
Betraying everyone and being blatant is the... Safest move.
But if Boss wants to trust everyone I can't say I disagree either, it's something I'd want to believe in. But if it doesn't work, it's not me who deals with that and that sucks.

[shook. Very Shook. but doing his best.]
Re: DISCUSSION
[Pressing his fist against the glass and leaning his head against his fist, taking a deep breath.]
You're the one in danger here, how do you want to play this, Boss?
Re: DISCUSSION
[but like. lol.]
But you guys have just as much say in this.
Re: DISCUSSION
That's one way to play, and I think it's up to you, but... The other way is to indicate strongly that we'll betray, and do it.
Do you want to risk something permanent or something really unpleasant or hope for something mild? I can't... Tell you which way to go, and I'm not sure which way I want to suggest.
I don't want to betray anyone either, but frankly, I don't want you to be hurt any more than anyone else. And "never be the same" worries me.
