[ Everything fades to black...and you awaken in a run-down one-room shack, with the distinct feeling that the people around you are your family, if you didn't already have such a bond with them.
You're wearing raggedy versions of your clothes, and a newspaper informs you that you are currently in %COUNTRYNAME%, in the year %CONTEMPORARY%. The newspaper is otherwise actually fairly unhelpful, aside from something detailing a recent high-profile murder having been solved: despite confusion on the part of the authorities conducting the initial investigation, it turns out the victim had been tragically murdered via gun in the knife.

Event 2: W-we got medicine f-for the infection. A-and we totally got m-money set aside for the d-doctor. W-we're gonna find one who kn-knows how to keep their mouth shut and w-won't rat us out or nothing.
Event 3: O-okay, so. W-we're gonna f-fake our deaths. C-call in a hot anonymous tip to a n-newspaper reporter, stash our b-bloody clothes somewhere a-and leave the rats. M-make it look like the r-rats turned on us. S-suddenly no one left to hunt for.
We d-don't got anymore rats, but I b-bet the cities in this next country over g-got stray dogs. Soon's we're back up on our f-feet and Dva's doing better, w-we're gonna train up a few dogs the same way we trained the rats and s-start a blackmarket underground d-dog circus. W-we got mad animal training s-skillz by now. W-we'll only p-perform at places wh-where the law don't show, l-like speakeasies and stuff.

Bad news! It's because you get the absolute fucking shit kicked out of you by some bounty hunters who catch you, leave you for dead, and steal allll of your shit. Well, at least you got a bit of HAPPINESS from all of it before that happened.
Anyways, you don't have an arrest warrant anymore, and everyone thinks you're dead, so you can start a new life with your dog circus?
On the other hand, you're all definitely about to die from your broken bones and blunt force injuries...but at least you're getting treated for hypothermia? I guess.
