[ The water begins to bubble, rising up and up in the bowl like a fountain, until it spills out of the bowl in waves, soaking into the dirt and around them. Still, though it overflows, the bowl seems no less empty than before - and the water climbs up and up and up, until the fountain becomes the gentle waterfall of a small stream no bigger than the circumference of the bowl. Through the waterfall, you can see -

Like a broken tail light, flickering and inconsistent in its brightness, a lump of faulty lighting takes center stage of the waterfall, by and large covered up by the tattered, human-like skinsuit you could recognize as Mehniel, though their outer layer is torn enough that you can see bits of feather and fur poking out, and on the floor around them are abandoned bits of feather and hair too, dim light now that they've been torn out. Behind them you can catch the vague shape of something, though you'll largely see the lights illuminating it from underneath a bevelled stone indent in the ground. Currently, the lights are a dull, constant red. If you squint you can see a glimpse of the wall behind; on it are hieroglyphs, unreadable to you. ]

No one has entered this room since I woke up again. Right now, my body is trying to heal itself, so I am bound to the light.

Crashing could hardly do damage to me to such an extent! This is what they did to strip me of my power.

First, what is the status there? Why are you still in Hell? Were you caught?

When we did the ritual thing, some of us got put in jail in this Hell, where all the fake angels are. Some got bailed out by one of the demon Hosts, the rest of us escaped, and two of our group got picked up by Azu or whatever. Been told not to say their names properly.

Currently I'm a fugitive! Everyone -- all the others from the other units, they all got transported here or to the other Hell, because Fauxkyo is "down for maintenance." Hurricane says cuz you swooped in and broke it.

I met up with Hurricane and Nem right after we escaped the fuzz, everyone that was with you got dropped off on this side.

Think we're waiting for them to get the city back up and running, but prolly whatever they're using you for too...

Yeah, well, this ain't the Nightosphere, so I don't really belong here.

I got a tail too. And-- I dunno! Must be some effect of this place. We left jail and I've been sprouting extra chicken wings at a rate of a pair a day. Seen a handful of us with stuff too. Nem and Hurricane're pretty clean it seems like, though.

Hmph. Did they do something strange to you? Did you eat any of the food?

Not to the first, but-- I go way nasty if I don't get food, dude. So I've had to eat.

Well, you've been living off of Hell food for some time now, since you've been in that cage. So it probably doesn't have any adverse effect on you that wouldn't be happening already . . . probably?
