[ The water begins to bubble, rising up and up in the bowl like a fountain, until it spills out of the bowl in waves, soaking into the dirt and around them. Still, though it overflows, the bowl seems no less empty than before - and the water climbs up and up and up, until the fountain becomes the gentle waterfall of a small stream no bigger than the circumference of the bowl. Through the waterfall, you can see - 


Like a broken tail light, flickering and inconsistent in its brightness, a lump of faulty lighting takes center stage of the waterfall, by and large covered up by the tattered, human-like skinsuit you could recognize as Mehniel, though their outer layer is torn enough that you can see bits of feather and fur poking out, and on the floor around them are abandoned bits of feather and hair too, dim light now that they've been torn out. Behind them you can catch the vague shape of  something, though you'll largely see the lights illuminating it from underneath a bevelled stone indent in the ground. Currently, the lights are a dull, constant red. If you squint you can see a glimpse of the wall behind; on it are hieroglyphs, unreadable to you. ]

[ There's the familiar scrape of metal against metal, but it somehow sounds hoarse. Their head does not quite lift, but they look to you through the haze of their evident pain, for the most part worn but sharp too, a spark of life in the dullness.

[ After your call disconnects, the water stops overflowing, resuming a normal amount in the bowl - but the damage to the rest of the area is pretty much done, flooding the whole floor of the parking lot by this point. (It's probably not great on you, especially if you have corruptions and most especially if you don't have anything protecting your feet.)

Should you come into contact with the holy water at all, you'll find the invisibility potion's effectiveness completely worn off. Unfortunate! But that's not a big deal as long as you're not trying to hide, right?

On the other hand, there's the sound of footsteps fast approaching, as well as barking orders in the distance - if you look out the window of the parking garage, you'll see a dozen or so unmarked black cars surrounding the building. How did they find you - ? Was it the water, or was it something else?

In any case, you don't have much time to figure that out. You'll want to get out, and fast - your abilities may or may not work with how soaked in holy water you are and how consecrated the area is, but you don't have much choice, right?

[As soon as everyone hears the approaching forces, they will fall back on the previously determined escape plan. Namely, employing Blue Eyes as a distraction and getting out without using the stairwells, ideally also without drawing attention to themselves as they go.]

[Hurricane will refill his flask with holy water and then attempt to go out the side the ominous vehicles did not park on. He has practice with parkour, acrobatics, and rooftop running, so he is going to attempt to gtfo to the roof of a nearby building, ideally while sticking close to Nemesis in case she needs him to have her back. If they get caught, as a last resort, he sure is going to Charm a guard or two and have them run interference on the other guards so they can buy time to escape. He'll also try and skewer some demons with his Heart Weapon, if it comes to that.]

[While Nemesis is not as fast or nimble as Hurricane, she's got high stamina, an arm with a whip in it (for climbing and swinging and stuff), and a fairly decent internal map since they've been pounding the pavement the previous few days. If it seems the MIB are catching up, she'll split off, heading the same direction but a block or two over, in the hopes of leading them to a dead end or having them otherwise lose the trail. She's practiced strategic use of Stability to jump off buildings without pancaking too badly, and--if necessary--she figures she can hold off the cops with some mixture of Living Forge (sudden blade rain or sword walls), Appel, and--if necessary--holy fire (set off oil to block the way, or toss a holy molotov cocktail…) Unless it seems like they've caught one of the party, the goal is just to buy time to escape.]

[Yugi is also going to attempt to take some holy water with him via the empty invisibility potion bottles he’s got and if it hurts like hell, well then so be it, because this stuff is hard to come by. Then he’ll be going with Requiem and King out the side??? Time to fall with style. As soon as powers are back on he’s going to Get Hype Req to aid in their getting their fuck out of there. And if any of the creeps try to follow them, he’ll hurl one of his electrified (Bzzt!) metal cards at the water in the hope of shocking the heck out of them. If they end up being followed or accosted or whatever he’ll be slinging the other metal cards he’s got at their heads.]

[King is going to NOT RESIST when Req levitates them the fuck out (if she’s doing that??) He’ll be hanging onto Yugi either way to make sure they don’t get split up and will only try to fight if it comes down to that (tho apparently.... y’know). Will probably also be Henshin’d! for both disguise and armor.]

[Req will be taking the twins with her the opposite direction Hurricane and Nem take and try to float them to another building or something where they can book it. Like King she won't fight unless it seems like MIB are catching up but in that case, yeah. Yugi gets to book it at top speed and the two murderers get to flex their murder muscles lol( IDEALLY, ANYWAY. YUGI PROBABLY WON'T DO THIS. ) Req will be making full use of Nightmare Vision and Lightning Flash if it comes down to it. 8)]

[ You can hear the footsteps of someone coming up - well, there are multiple, definitely, but there's one set in particular that seems to echo through the entire parking garage like thunder, and you can see the crackle of electricity. Several guards do come in to flank you from the top, though they're stopped by the holy water - and while you manage to be faster than the cops, such that everyone escapes successfully, there's an irresistible draw to turn back and look, like it's Sodom and Gomorrah. Just one final look before you completely get out of the way.

A soft voice speaks, carried by an equally soft looking blonde man, who looks completely unbothered by Blue Eyes - who is, incidentally, preoccupied with other angelic demons flocking around. ]

A~h, man. And here I thought you'd be hopeless without me . . . It seems you've managed to make some good friends after all this time, Arariel. That's good, that's good.

[ Maybe that makes you stop, maybe it doesn't. Regardless, you're struck with the sudden realization - the air smells of ozone. Of rain, though it didn't rain - and there's the sound of electricity crackling in the air, regardless of your distance by now. The soft man's laugh echoes in your ears, though he's so far away. ]

Hahaha . . . We should really talk again, but those kids won't make it easy for us to do that, huh? Yes, yes, it's time to work.

[ His head turns to the right - to catch one last glimpse to Requiem, King, and Yugi; his body crackles, lips curling. You know it crackles, crackles like lightning, even if you aren't looking anymore. Even if you aren't looking anymore, in your mind's eye, you can see him perfectly, like it's impossible to get him out of your head. Bright light starts to fill your vision. ]

Yes yes, it's time to work. No need to start a stir here, you understand? Yes, yes, it's fine to forget. It's been a hard day for you, hasn't it? Yes, yes. Just forget it all now. If I erased everything, that kid'll get mad at me, but you understand it's my job, right? It's just to keep the peace for now, since you're not going to be here for long. Yes yes, it's good that you understand. You're good kids, aren't you?

[ There's the abrupt sound of thunder clapping in the distance, and it is dizzying. It's probably not a great idea to keep floating like this, but you know, you're adults, doing - whatever you were doing? What were you doing?

For the next 4 IC days, Requiem, King, and Yugi will not be able to remember anything about Mehniel or anything related to the summoning. ]

[Thursday will be spent in a) trying to locate and obtain Mehniel's diary and b) attempting to find a way to get into betrayal house. To that end, everyone will split up and conduct their own diary searches to attempt to keep a low profile.]

[Hurricane will hit up B Thursday morning, to get a bunch of invisibility potions and distribute them to those who need them. He will also pass B some notes on what has happened, what they know for sure, and what they think is going on. Yugi will give Hurricane super speed, and he will head on out to the crash site to search for the diary. He will search the surrounding areas first, thoroughly, replenishing the invisibility potions when they wear off. If that yields nothing, he will Henshin it up, hope Heroes Never Die holds out, and head to the crash zone. He will attempt to shove some of the holy dirt in a super hero belt pouch or two. After that, the goal is to get into and out of the center of the crash site proper before he dies a horrible fiery death, and if the diary is there, to grab it and gtfo. He's counting on super speed + invisibility to keep the guards away, but if that fails, he will attempt to Charm some dudes. The rest of the day will depend heavily on how that goes, but Yugi is standing by to drag him out if things go poorly. After that, the plan is to meet up with Nem and Intensity to see how the recon on Azzy's house went.]

[ Yugi is going to join Hurricane on his search for the diary mission. He’ll have used Get Hype on Hurricane and Quick as a Wink on himself to ensure they’re both super fast. After downing an invisibility potion they’ll head to the area, though he’s going to mostly hang back to avoid getting majorly fucked up, because corruptions. He’ll be on edge the entire time Hurricane is IN the actual crash zone, but he’ll also be hurling electrified ( Bzzt! ) metal cards from the safety of his invincibility at anybody that thinks twice about interfering with what’s going on. If the shit hits the fan and Hurricane eats it, then he’ll grab him and immediately fuck off and presumably meet back with everybody else. ]

[At the same time, Nemesis is going to find Intensity to catch him up on the situation and ask him a) if he knows how to get to Azzy's beach house, and if not, b) to ask Exael where it is. If it seems like an answer will be immediately forthcoming, she'll wait around for it; if not, she'll look around for the diary as well, maybe asking a few fans met from the previous event with D.Va or the places she and Req had checked out earlier. If there's time (and it doesn't seem still staked out by MIBs) she'll also search the parking garage they called Elly from to see if there are any clues left behind by lightning friend--or if the site's been wiped clean.]

[ King will tag along with Nemesis to assist in the detective work/search and also to work as the weaker-than-her hired muscle if things get dicey at any point. If they need to scrounge more info he may also try to dig up some rumors and hearsay from the staff/clientele at the nightclub, since they’re all shady as shit. ]

[ Req will go with Nem and King on their adventure and try to figure out what the fuck they’re doing lol. Mostly just taking direction because ??? the angel memory issues ]

[The plan is to all meet back up early afternoon, share info, and barring physical reason not to (rather than it just being a generally bad idea), either take action re: Azzy's house if it's available to try and bust out an angel, or head for Pythia's house, 'cause why not. If they have the diary at this point, it is not coming with them. Hurricane will stay with it if he is badly injured and can't come along (though, if Henshin held out, he should be able to transform back and be okay). If Hurricane is still in working order, he will pass the diary off to B, ask him to keep it safe and secret, and join the others for the infiltration.]



IF GOING TO AZZY'S HOUSE:

[INFILTRATION ATTENDEES: Nem, Req, King, Yugi, Intensity, Hurricane (assuming he is not dead or injured to the point of not functioning)]

[INFILTRATION PLAN: After taking invisibility potions, they'll follow Exael's directions to Asmodeus's summer home. With minimal time spent on residual trauma, Hurricane (and Intensity?) will lead them to the basement where they saw Elly. All will try to keep their sanity but honestly no guarantees. They will bring a bright light source, as Elly requested. ]

[If they see anybody King and Hurricane are in charge of Charming them, else Req can Nightmare Vision them, or Nem or Yugi can tase whoever needs tasing--the plan is to try and stay quiet and undetected until they find Elly, and then...leave the way they came.Surely this will all go smoothly.]



IF GOING TO PYTHIA'S HOUSE:

[INFILTRATION ATTENDEES: Nem, Req, King, Yugi, Hurricane (assuming he is not dead or injured to the point of not functioning)]

[GETAWAY DRIVER: Intensity]

[INFILTRATION PLAN: After taking invisibility potions, they will cut their way in quickly and quietly through the outside of the building with Heart Weapons. Nem can walk on walls. Hurricane has a mini grappling hook. If anything interesting catches his eye, Yugi will probably try to steal it. Req can float. The folks without corruptions (Hurricane and Nemesis) will anoint themselves with a small amount of holy oil in an attempt to stave off Pythia's influence in a worst case scenario, since Hiryuu told Hurricane the holy water in heaven washed away the trial's influence from her.]

[Yugi and one other person, with super speed, will zip around snooping. King and Hurricane will Charm anyone who attempts to interfere, as needed. If the diary hasn't been found, they will search for it now. If it has been found, they will look for anything that might be helpful in reaching Mehniel; finding God, Lucifer, or any other deities or angels; or any useful/interesting information in general.]

[If all goes well, they'll grab what they need and leave the way they came, with no one the wiser.]
