[ The water begins to bubble, rising up and up in the bowl like a fountain, until it spills out of the bowl in waves, soaking into the dirt and around them. Still, though it overflows, the bowl seems no less empty than before - and the water climbs up and up and up, until the fountain becomes the gentle waterfall of a small stream no bigger than the circumference of the bowl. Through the waterfall, you can see -
Like a broken tail light, flickering and inconsistent in its brightness, a lump of faulty lighting takes center stage of the waterfall, by and large covered up by the tattered, human-like skinsuit you could recognize as Mehniel, though their outer layer is torn enough that you can see bits of feather and fur poking out, and on the floor around them are abandoned bits of feather and hair too, dim light now that they've been torn out. Behind them you can catch the vague shape of something, though you'll largely see the lights illuminating it from underneath a bevelled stone indent in the ground. Currently, the lights are a dull, constant red. If you squint you can see a glimpse of the wall behind; on it are hieroglyphs, unreadable to you. ]

Re: PRE-FIGHT
Really don't know what else they should have been expecting trying to break into Pythia's penthouse. Maybe not the appearance of the special guest. Or the commentary.
His robot eye twitches and sparks as he covers it with one hand, trying to focus enough to start stitching the thing back together.]
Sometimes low-hanging fruit falls from the tree when you shake hard enough. Needlessly aggressive as it is.
And your nom de plume is?
... Standard procedure for shittalking banter and all.

Re: PRE-FIGHT
Are you on the clock? Or is this personal?
Re: PRE-FIGHT
Re: PRE-FIGHT
So let's start professionally.
Work name?
Re: PRE-FIGHT
Furfur, professionally. Nice to meet you, S2FPYME=.
Re: PRE-FIGHT
And nice pronunciation of the equal sign, Furfur. Most people don't even bother.
[Laughs at that]
Do you have to memorize all of the profiles? Or is my idol name written across my forehead in something that only the staff can read?
Re: PRE-FIGHT
[ with a laugh, himself ]
I've seen you on TV enough that I had to pick up on your work name sooner or later. Have to say, she was pretty bummed when she heard the show was going on hiatus, so she'll be happy to hear I got to meet her favorite idols.
Re: PRE-FIGHT
Look.
[Gesturing at their roughed up rpg party]
We have almost 50% representation. What’s her favorite unit?
Re: PRE-FIGHT
Well, but she'll watch pretty much anything, so I've seen most of you guys at least a few times. You could say she watches it religiously, hahahaha!
Re: PRE-FIGHT
Should I address it to Mrs. Furfur?
Re: PRE-FIGHT
As for the name - "Chelle" with two L's and an E!
Re: PRE-FIGHT
Well, if you’re going to play jenga with our memories, make sure to leave that piece in. I’d hate to go back on my word.

My travelling companions - they're really bad at math, you see. Six for the price of one. Bad economic sense.
So is there harm in letting let play secret spy? It gives them hope and that's good for you and yours, right?
We both know what they're looking for isn't here.
Re: PRE-FIGHT
Honestly, if it was anywhere besides my lady Oracle's house, it'd be something I could ignore. Hell, they couldn't have found their stupid book without my help, but they're asking for way too much. Why don't they try sitting and dabbling in some cryptography? That's a pretty secret spy thing to have fun with, right?
Re: PRE-FIGHT
And yes well, paladins have to be so dramatic all the time.
Like crash landing into enemy territory when you're an army of one? ... Were they always like that?
Re: PRE-FIGHT
Re: PRE-FIGHT
I'm sure God is laughing at that turn of events.
