[ The water begins to bubble, rising up and up in the bowl like a fountain, until it spills out of the bowl in waves, soaking into the dirt and around them. Still, though it overflows, the bowl seems no less empty than before - and the water climbs up and up and up, until the fountain becomes the gentle waterfall of a small stream no bigger than the circumference of the bowl. Through the waterfall, you can see -

Like a broken tail light, flickering and inconsistent in its brightness, a lump of faulty lighting takes center stage of the waterfall, by and large covered up by the tattered, human-like skinsuit you could recognize as Mehniel, though their outer layer is torn enough that you can see bits of feather and fur poking out, and on the floor around them are abandoned bits of feather and hair too, dim light now that they've been torn out. Behind them you can catch the vague shape of something, though you'll largely see the lights illuminating it from underneath a bevelled stone indent in the ground. Currently, the lights are a dull, constant red. If you squint you can see a glimpse of the wall behind; on it are hieroglyphs, unreadable to you. ]

The surge collecting, at least partially, in that metal right eye-- and fucking obliterates it with a sickening combination of the smell of seared flesh and explosive noise.

And generally, as a rule, Requiem doesn't scream, not from pain. She didn't scream when Loki crushed her bones, didn't scream when her eye was shot out in the first place. And she only just barely manages a scream now, short and dry and strangled, pinned to the ground as she is, huddled in a ball with all of those frazzled wings convulsing against her back. ]

[ He draws his Heart Weapon on reflex, moving between her and the angel even if it will do fuckall. And to the angel, he spits: ]
