[ The room you wake up in is barren. The floor, walls, and ceiling are all metal, and the only furnishings are a large television-sized touchscreen monitor and a massive pane of glass cutting through the room, separating Wire from the rest of the unit. You can beat against the glass as much as you like, but it won't break. Both the touchscreen monitor and the elevator doors are on the same side of the room as everyone but the hostage.

Once Mukuro finishes his intro spiel, the monitor display switches to a catalogue of pictures of flowers, each with their name, associated meaning, and a checkbox underneath them: ]

[He can't comfort him right now, Mori knows he's in no state to be trying to reassure anyone, but he still looks to Abi with concern and worry.]

He pats Mori on the shoulder gently. He's ok. They just need to stay focused.]

That's both nice but also distinctly upsetting that he's making his junior have to comfort him when he must be scared for Nathan too.

Mori ducks his head and covers Abi's hand with his own, gripping the back of it tight for comfort. He has to get a grip, but that feels like an impossible task right now.]

[He nods.]

We just...need to focus.

[Stop thinking about Nathan getting hurt and them being able to do nothing stop thinking about Spidey and Hurricane's broken arms stop thinking about Hiryuu and Nathan walking in covered in their own blood, Hiryuu too terrified to even come through the door and Nathan quiet and motionless and furious. Stop thinking about all of that and focus on what you have to do now.

Mori brings his other hand up, it's still shaking, and clasps Abi's forearm. He takes a deep, shuddering breath and tries to hold back tears.]
