Who said anything about a fight? I'm asking because I want to know more about your viewpoint. In my own, I know what makes sense or not, but if I only ever operate under my own understandings of things, I can't expand my way of thinking.

I'm not trying to make a point. I'm trying to understand what it was like before. I don't think you need to be lectured, like you said, you get it, but I do want to get a better idea in order to find something closer to a medium since this way's pretty rough on people too.

Well... I know it's been said to play hard, and I know I can't make much call with this being only the second round, but I think adjusting our play based on the round and point totals isn't a terrible idea. Also taking the actual effects into consideration. Like, I'm a lot more okay with playing more and higher pointed cards in rounds where the effects of those cards aren't as severe?

Not being able to use your phone for a few days is actually a lot more manageable than insatiable hunger, for example, but the hunger is the lower point value here.

It's not like the choices are between phone use and being hungry, dude. It's between "do we wanna take someone's arm off" and "do we not wanna hurt people."

But in this particular instance, or at least with this hand of cards, it is. So playing multiple, lower cards and using that to get ahead makes for less need for potentially playing higher cards later... at least I'd theorize.

Actions can always be adjusted. I suppose that's the thought I'm stuck on myself, adjust for the situation rather than play one specific way or the other.
