GM Game: BARiTONES

[ The door shuts behind you, leaving you in a copy of this room. Upon one of the fancy tables is your card for the round, along with slots for each unit for you to go slide in your choices.

You can come and go as you will, but once you have left the room, you cannot speak of anything that transpires within: not your choices, not your discussion, not your alliances.

Do your best, idol-tachi. ]

He just wrote me the dosages; I bought the pills from the store myself.

[ ...

she digs in her pocket for the pill bottles, and tips out the correct amounts. ]

Speaking of which. To keep you while we sort this out.

. . .

[She just holds out a hand for them, since her knee still hurts like a bitch and all, and listening in on the conversations.]

SensitIV instead of Future. Since there's, like, maybe two teams that aren't willing to grind us into the dirt, I don't want to play on one of them.

That works for me.

[Look she’s not completely ridiculous. She just dry swallows them.]

At least our points aren’t drawing attention. But if we play both 8s and nothing cancels, we might.

...if we play the one, then that's thirteen points, which would put us at 44. Which will still keep us afloat, even if we take twenty points worth of damage, and then keep us from getting slammed in the last round, which will probably be the most dangerous one.

Yeah. We’re not Heart Soldier, people will freak if we get anywhere near fifty. And I don’t know how many rounds there are, but we might be nearing the end soon — getting piled on might mean we won’t be able to climb back out of it again before the game ends.

. . . If we do it that way, maybe play the one point card on a team we think might hit us just to block?
marsascending: (don't think you had much to lose)

Mm. This round's a little harder to guess, since there's a lot of options. It's a little harder to pick out who might have, since I can't quite lean on guilty consciences for a reaction as well as I could the first round.

Since the hits we took weren't egregious this past round, though, we could probably expect some of the teams that are willing to go harder this round. BAD END, WILD CITY, and so on.

If we’re wrong, it won’t bump up the score so much we’ll be targets, so who cares?

Exactly. So we can attempt to block one of them with a nothing card, and see if we can either block or get points from the rest.

Great.

[Scrubs her hands down her face.]

Now we just have to convince half the unit it's not worth screwing the rest of us over just for their thirst for blood.
