[ The room is BRIGHT YELLOW, as all the rooms you will enter are. Black tiles make up the floor, changing to your unit's color when pressure is placed on them. There is a button in the very center of the room standing on a podium; it's slightly smaller than palm-sized.]

Hallucinations - Captain Brigand
No, it's not out of love, is it? You told yourself that you run to help others, to care, to pull your weight, but you just want to matter to others. Your footsteps slow, and your legs feel heavy—as if there's a horrible new weight on your feet. Looking down, you see with a horror that molasses-like hands sprout from the ground, pulling at your feet, sticking to your legs, trying to keep you in place, and drag you down into the ground.
You can hear—laughing? Oh, it's—it's the people you wanted to prove yourself to, your comrades-in-arms, and… maybe they knew all along. Maybe they knew that you'd never get anywhere. But you can't let them see you not trying your best. You can't not fight—
So you strain, and suddenly you can feel yourself free, carrying forward into the air, as the painful snap of breaking leg bones frees you from the grip of that which would keep you down.
But not for long. Before you can struggle to your feet, the sludgey darkness reaches up, hands closing over you, blotting out the sun, and the last thing you can see is those who were your hope at companionship turning away as night takes you.
