[ The room is BRIGHT YELLOW, as all the rooms you will enter are. Black tiles make up the floor, changing to your unit's color when pressure is placed on them. There is a button in the very center of the room standing on a podium; it's slightly smaller than palm-sized.]

Apologies in advance, I can't let you pass that easily.

'Tis understandable. However - I was under the impression that your body moves in tandem alongside mine when under this ability. Should you move to press the button, I will as well.

[ And with that, she's going to launch a leg into a high kick, releasing the ability at the apex, close to her head, in an attempt to knock him off his feet. ]

Please understand, this isn't personal, nor am I doing this on behalf of anyone else.
So come to me personally, if you'd like to settle this.

This again. ---From the same unit, either. He grimaces from his space on the ground, awaiting for ... whatever it is that will happen to happen. ]
Hallucinations - Auracite, cw cannibalism, dragons
The flesh of your fellows is the sweetest poison, and you hate that doing something so disgusting feels so right. Their blood dribbles down your chin and soaks into your clothing and you feel disgusting hideous monstrous completely and utterly repugnant but you're just so hungry and - and - you can't let them go to waste, can you? After all,
it's your fault they're dead.
You look up at the sky, a dragon flying above you. It glides in frightful circles, like a vulture waiting for the world's end to finally come. You already tried to stop it, but all you did was get the only people who could actually save the world from dying. All of your grand ideas and ostentatious gestures and ill-considered plans have come to naught, and you're not even the one who had to pay the price for your own failure.
The world is ending, so what else can you do? This is the most you can manage. A funeral for the real heroes, as funeral half-baked as anything else you've ever tried to do. Carbuncle chitters, running circles around you as you feast, trying to stir you to...do anything. Anything at all. Even just join it in screaming in defiance.
The dragon roars, and you shudder. Even your screams would go unheard in the face of such might. And that's the final blow to your heart, isn't it? A summoned creature, a product of your own aetheric calculations - even something like that is able to do more than you can. You close the blood-splattered codex next to you, and your final companion vanishes.
You'll at least spare it the end, you think, as a faint blue light appears in the distance. It grows and rapidly brightens, consuming all in its path. You can't even blame the dragon. This is what you have wrought. You, and you alone.
And as you are torn apart and reduced to dust, you know even oblivion cannot absolve you of your failures.
