It’s all yours.
Everything is yours!
That’s the role of the ruler of this world.
And you are simply taking your rightful place as the strongest. How many times have you destroyed those who tried to hurt you in the mansion? But you were simply too powerful for them! Ha! Sure you put out a smile, but deep down you have desires, too. You dance around in your small, tiny enclosed space, knowing the number of bodies it took to get to the top. Knowing the amount of people you couldn’t save.
And yet you smile.
Because even the most powerful can’t avoid sickness. And it has taken over your own body. Blemishes have formed on your skin, and you have a terrible cough that won’t go away. The flowers in your hair have wilted away a long time ago, but you can’t bring yourself to let them go. They were a present from your beloved siblings after all.
As you dance, you feel the flesh of your skin start to burn as they start to rot, boiling and blisters overtaking your skin. The longer you dance, the longer you can feel the bones in your leg finally snap, causing you to crash and fall. After all, your body is weak now. It can no longer support your desires, your hopes, your dreams, your selfishness.
And you were so very selfish, weren’t you?
