Heart Game: Intensity (Turn 5)
In the beginning, there is nothing but darkness and silence. A sleep that gives no rest but one out of necessity in order to keep functioning. Behind closed eyelids, the numbers of a clock tick down - one painstaking second at a time.
TIME UNTIL REBOOT:

And then you wake up.
As you shift to a standing position, you feel something sharp and pointed press against your side. Digging into the nearest pocket, you will find two small puzzle pieces. And from their odd shape, it looks like they would fit into a 3D spherical puzzle. Odd. You've never seen them before, but you do get a sense that these are a currency of some sort. Spend them wisely!
Game start.

Say that when you're at least seeing yourself as like... what? ten years older?
[honestly, the rudest part of this True Heart business]

Like he's thinking about lying about it.
In the end, he doesn't. ]
This is when Mokuba said I was the happiest.

Yeah?
So this is your way of carrying that memory with you, huh...

That I became who I did.
If it wasn't for Mokuba, I wouldn't even keep that part of me around, you know.

Like making sure he was well-equipped when they shipped him off the show again.

I think you should tell him. But you'll do what you think is best. Just don't let "pressing matters" limit you too much.

Just thought if it meant this much to you, saying so wouldn't be such a bad thing. But maybe he already knows 'cause he knows you. I don't remember having any siblings so I don't really know what that's like.

Maybe Gadget? But that's mostly 'cause the same guy took us both in at different points.

I was wondering why you seemed a little more protective of her than the rest.
no subject
... her being the one to ask us to steal her heart--or the distortion within it--is another part of it.
Long story that doesn't have her approval to tell yet.
no subject
I wouldn't remember it if you told me here anyway. Or at least. Not consciously.
no subject
...
[lol.]
Anyway, I will have no mercy on your conscious self. And you'll only have yourself to blame.

Surely the world must be ending.

Can't take credit for it this time either.
