Heart Game: Hurricane - Run 4

[At first, all is still; all is silent.]

[Then the light comes up, bright, and then brighter, and you are in…]

[The whispers grow louder in your mind]

You need to get moving..

The world's falling apart around you, and here you are, just sitting back and letting it happen.

[ this is fine.
she's got this under control. ]

[ except, like,
the whispers. ]

Shutup! [ she hisses and she's taking out the c-4 and attempt to drive it straight into the maw of one of the monsters, and since they're all swirling around her, well, that splash damage should surely be something else! ]

[Even without driving it in, the splash damage catches them.]

[But the whispers just won't shut up.]

You can save this, still, but only if you push yourself.

Only if you make it work.

[Once D.Va has splash damaged the lot, he is going to put that rocket launcher to use immediately on the one closest to D.Va]

[It goes down in flames; the whispers hold no sway over you.]

she has to try harder. ]

[ she spares all of them a glace, though she does yelp as soon as the rocket goes zooming by; impacting the harbinger nearest her. ]

[ if she fails,
then they'll die. ]

[ she feels her heart beating faster and faster in her chest as she turns towards another one of the harbingers, whipping out her laser sword. ]

[The whispers hold no sway over you.]

[But you are shaken, and the sword just missed, the creature twisting sinuously out of the way.]

[It bites at your arm in retaliation, but breaks a tooth on Tokki's gauntlet]

[Let's clear out the ones near D.Va first so that they can give move to give Angel and Kaguya back-up.

Rocket launcher - take 2.

DEX: 23; DMG: 6; WIS: 16 ]

[KABOOM.]

[Down it goes, in a spray of black guts.]

[The ones by D.Va are well and truly down.]

[ she is a bit shaken, but she doesn't want anybody to know. she's fine. she's a tank, and tanks are strong. a curse as her sword misses and harbinger tries to bite her, but it doesn't manage to do a damn thing. she grabs for it, attempting to drive her sword into the back of it's stupid head or... whatever. ]

[ strength 19, dam6
widsom 18. ]

[ it's time to kill the two she had picked up from intensity. ]

[She slices through one of them, black ichor spilling from the wound.]

[It shrieks and thrashes, and both wheel back around but only one of them succeeds, rakin g at her with its claws for 21 (4 dam).]

[Well apparently seeing D.Va take damages does fuck up his next attack as the next shot goes wide.

DEX: 13; WIS: 9 ]

Fucking...

[The whispers seep into your brain, low and insidious.]

It's all according to plan, of course. Do you ever not have a plan?

You know exactly what you're doing, and exactly where you're going, and exactly what you need to accomplish.

[ she can't believe she let it hit her. ]

...come on, D.Va! [ she's going to slash at the same one that she'd just hit moments ago. ] Come here you little shit!

[One of the creatures near Intensity goes down, in its death throws.]

[But the whispers won't shut up.]

There's no time to hold back.

[Gives a sideways glance to D.Va, but it seems like she has herself together so.

Aiming at the last one.

DEX: 19; DMG: 4; WIS: well there's a nat 1]

[You blow a chunk from its side, taking out twenty staring black eyes.]

[The whispers grow louder.]

It's the ones around you that are pulling you down. They don't understand the intricate interlocking parts, like the gears of a machine.

Your genius is beyond them.

[ she's taken out a number of them with intensity's help, so as he's doing an attack, she's going to take out her sword and do her best to round up a couple more. angel and kaguya needed some help, yeah, so she'll head towards those. ]

HEY! on me, assholes, [ she slash at them. as soon as she's rounded up a couple ( at least 4! ) she'll be taking out the c-4 and sticking it onto her mech, why, because guess. fucken. what. ]

[ SHE'S OVERLOADING THE CORE AND THIS THING IS GOING TO BLOW. ]

[ she starts laughing like a mcfucken lunatic though, reaching out to try to snare the harbingers to keep them from escaping her clutches. ]

No one's going to die on MY watch. [ EXCEPT MAYBE ME. ]

[ strength 19, dam6 ]

[ KABOOM!!! ]

[ she'll be ejecting at the last second though and doing a freefall, so... someone catch her, plz? maybe?? lilhalp??? ]

[She doesn't get all of them - but a good number of beady black eyes follow her as she lists, and hundreds of leathery wings beat the air as they turn to follow, heading up, and up, and up, mouths wide -]

[The explosion tears chunks from them; one spatters to the ground, in pieces. The others roar their pain at the sky.]

[D.Va, what the fuck are you doing?

D.VA WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?

Rockets underneath the last harbinger so he can grab her before she hits the ground]

[ she grunts as she's caught. ]

How many...
How many of them are still alive?

[ she's still insane and looking to do more murder...
and she's lacking a range weapon save for, uh, ...an armor foot so! ]

[ strength 24,
it's one hell of a throw!
3 damage... ]

[That foot sails through the air and smacks into the head of the one near Angel, leaving it hanging on by a thread]

Four.

[And he watches the armored foot go sailing and clunk a nearby Harbinger.

He shifts so that she is balanced sitting mostly on one arm of the mech.]

You actually want a ranged weapon?

I do. I'll take anything.

[ since he's close enough he might be able to tell that she's looking a touch more... unhinged than normal. sure, she usually throws herself into stupid situations without thinking, but... hm. ]

What do you have? What can you give me? [ she's going to make sure she's perfectly balanced on his arm, one of her hands coming to rest near the back of his head. ] We'll kill them all together, right, Intensity?

[One of the remaining harbingers comes in, claws slashing, to try and take you both out.]

[It's blind, though, all its eyes seared away, and it misses]
