"Okay." She scratches her nose and just watches Req before getting to her feet--grabbing the satchel again. "...Guess I should leave you to it. So--break a leg, I guess."

She turns to smile back at you.

"See you out there."

Nods, slow, then makes to leave backstage, to head for a good spot in the venue.

You find a pretty good spot, as some fans make way for you with a smile and a gesture, over here over here.

As Requiem ascends the stage with her bass not long after, with some new digs, it seems like the concert's about to start.

She settles with the others as the music opens. She keeps mostly quiet throughout the show, hands knotting in the strap of her bag as she listens intently to the music--attempts to catch the lyrics.

I mean, it's mostly love songs.

She's not shy about making eye contact with you, though, grinning as she plays.

Yes, but the type of love song is also important. Nemesis looks a little anxious through the first couple tracks, though by the end her expression has softened considerably, especially at the sweet rendition of Can't Help Falling In Love With You. She keeps her head bowed a little, though Requiem may recognize it as Nem's habit of trying to hide embarrassment behind her hair.

When the final notes fade away, she applauds and cheers as much as anyone.

To be fair to me I didn't actually organize those tracks in any particular order.

But Req steps back from the mic, bass in hand, to bow-- blow a few kisses to the crowd, maybe-- as she starts walking backwards towards backstage and bidding goodbye to the gatherers.

People mill around for a while longer, chatting excitedly-- a few people even nudge you with a playful "Lucky girl!" as they wander by. You even see Ashley and Man Eater laughing together, and they pause to give you a little wave as they start to head off.

She is always a little nervous when it comes to Requiem anyway...though generally charmed enough for it to even out.

More importantly, for now she smiles back at the well-wishers, and gives Man Eater & Ashley a friendly nod back; just appreciates the fans' reception to the concert for a bit, proud at Req's performance. But she heads backstage before too long, eager to get Req's take.

When you head backstage she's sitting on the desk again, tying her hair up and back-- but pauses when she sees you to drop it, grinning and standing.

"Hey! I was hoping you'd come back here again. How'd you like it? Was it good?"

"It's always good. You were awesome." Nemesis approaches, smiling as well. "How'd you like it? Was it fun?"

"'Course it's fun. Music's like, totally my life's calling."

She beckons you closer, hands outstretched.

"Mmm, well, lucky for us, you answered." Doesn't hesitate, going to Req's arms to wrap her own around Req's waist.

"What would y'all do without my infectious beats?" she says, teasing, but immediately pulls you in for a firm, happy hug.

Relaxes another little bit at the contact despite herself, as if she hadn't 100 percent expected it to be returned. "Guess we'd just retire the whole concept of dancing. What'd even be the point?"

She just holds on for a while, a slight nervous tension creeping back into her limbs. "...Hey. Did you wanna go back?"

She seems gently concerned at that nervous energy, but. "Sure? Where to?"

She opens her mouth; hesitates.

"Your place? ...Unless there's someplace else you wanted to go."

"Nah, I could head back. Could defs use a shower now, I feel all grimy," she says, as she nuzzles into your hair.

Nemesis hums into Req's chest, mock-offended. "So you're getting your cooties all on me then? What'd I do to deserve this?"

"Baby, you deserve ssoooo much more than cooties."

She kisses your head, but pulls back a little with a lopsided smile. "C'mon, let's head back."

She nods, making sure her bag is secure over her shoulder before falling in beside Req, lugging whatever Req may need for her to carry. "So this's the rock star life? Serenading your fans then hitting the showers in triumph?"

"You say that like you ain't usually there given the stink eye to groupies tryina cozy up too much," she says, walking alongside her. She's just got her bass and a bag with her fan gifts in it, so she doesn't hand anything off to you to carry.

"I ain't the best at sharing, what can I say?"

She pauses as if finally listening to herself; purses her lips before ultimately affecting a mild expression. "...But, I mean. If you wanna get more familiar with your fans, just say so. Could be a good time."

She looks vaguely startled and a little weirded out, maybe, and says, "No way. That's a good way to get a bad reputation.

Among other things. Also, like... not really interested in hurting your feelings, so."

She shrugs, not trying to seem too heavy. “Figured that was all part of the rock star job. Something like that wouldn’t hurt my feelings.”

And, because even she realizes that citation is needed, she continues. “Like...I ain’t trying to ruin your rep, though that ain’t nobody’s business anyways. But so long’s everybody involved knew it was just for fun, then it ain’t that big a deal, right?”
