This place is no less exquisite than the rest of the place. The many books contain all kinds of information, with quite a few shelves taken up by texts on biology, human genetics, and medicine in particular. Off to the side is a desk upon which five journals sit, each emblazoned with a name - the names of all characters currently perusing this place, in fact. Pens are also available, chained to the desk but well within reach of the books' pages. It would be a fascinating place to sit and study... if it weren’t for the wild roses growing out of one of the shelves, the flowers beginning to obscure the books it holds.

There’s some scattered books set on tables and chairs around the area, and some things of note with the shelves other than the plant life. You can return to the hallways from here.

Susanoo. A unitmate on SensitIV. Another version (timeline? world?) of Coriander on LiliS, I suppose. He manages to be troublesome in his own, unique way. Relies on various substances and a joking demeanor to cope.

This one might be beyond me - a Devil’s charisma can only make up for so much when you lack humanity. The most I can do is keep an eye out. Giving him other things to engage with only goes so far.

There are a few more blank pages, and then the beginning of a timeline listing out the times in which Susanoo and Izanagi interacted. The line stretches on to the end of the book with plenty of blank space after the current day, eventually ending in a notch marked with Graduation.

Alexander, or Emet-Selch. BARiTONES. He and Noah agreed not to target each other’s units over their history together, apparently. He and Lahabrea (Cosmo) tried to save their world at a great cost. Was good friends with the one now known as Levity, so his unit has even less reason to target future is now in games.

I’m not sure what his aim is. Does he not realize what I know? Or is he really that trusting? Still, it saves more lives to be polite than not. As long as I keep my mouth shut on anything important, it should be alright. The less bad blood with Yvette’s unit, the better.

So he did tell them. I wondered if he had even if he had not uttered a word to the Doman. I imagine Persephone knows as well then. A pity.

Though it seems we both make strides in doing things for Yvette's benefits.

There’s so many books, what stands out most is... actually the absence of books. It seems there’s a ten volume series, but three volumes are missing: 3, 5, and 6]

I didn’t want to get on her bad side when she’s so close to Chrys, but - she really did help me out during that hotel game. I’m not sure how much she knows about us, or even her sons, but she’s a powerful ally.

Too polite to pry - it’s easy to avoid certain subjects around her. She seems like the type to excuse herself from things if she got the sense it would make the others happy. It’s difficult to nudge her in any particular direction as an outsider... I might need to check with others who know her better, but if they do, they had to have noticed too, right? Maybe I should leave this one be.

Susanoo prefers to not reveal what is actually occurring within his heart because it is too stupid to contemplate. He's unsettled and nervous around humans but also seems to long to be part of them. Bringing up this fact will be met with denial and extreme prejudice, so it's best not to mention it. However, he seems to be a firm believer that those who will speak down to others aren't worthy of the label of "human". This is probably why he doesn't view himself as one.

Addendum: I only give this much away about myself in this book because I did do something that had a great effect on you personally. I have no remorse over the matter, and I won't speak as to what it was, but I assure you that the previous notation is completely factual and true and explains the reasons for my action. I sincerely hope you are not the kind of person who would take similar actions, as I do see you as more human than me in a number of ways, but if you do, I won't judge you for it. -Susanoo

[They're thriving. Happy flowers, growing here despite the shelves surely not being able to provide them with the nutrients needed to do so.

Also Hizumi's book is around somewhere if you still want to mess with that but yeah that's about it.]

Created with high charisma and intelligence to draw in friends and companions to assist in the destruction of humanity upon reaching adulthood. As the Devil, I can’t connect with others. But even a fake relationship is better than none at all.

I don’t want to be abandoned again. But I can’t be saved, either. So I’ll maintain what I can get to avoid that dark loneliness again. If I try to wish for things that can’t be granted, I won’t be able to hold it together anymore.

It would be so much easier if I could accept death.

Half of the poison is sufficient - the flowers wither, crumbling into dust. There is no longer a threat to the poor books. And also...
