I’m not really sure what they are, but if you ask me, something like that must be really precious to someone. You should try taking good care of them, you hear? I’m sure at least one person out there would be grateful for it. Or maybe... that’s what I’d like to hope, anyway.
[The pot is beginning to crack, but holding together for now. He'd probably need to find something to fill them if he was intending to do repairs.
That said, the plant's roots have really dug themselves in, and if he cares to look around the main hall in general there's no signs of any other plant life or soil.]
Well met then. But as I said, I would not leave this pot alone. I have a special someone who I am learning the meaning of plants for and its meaning did not escape me.
[Time to look for a bucket or tape or mortar (why would props have mortar???).]
[He sounds confused, but doesn't impede Emet on his search!
If he decides to venture into the backstage, there's a plethora of items inside, along with two easily missed shadows that merely wave in silence. Stagehands, probably, though it's hard to see when the backstage is also so dark so as to not distract from the performances.
If he thinks real hard about them he might find... a prop bucket (too small) and a prop mortar (does not actually contain mortar)! This is what he wanted, right?]
If I recall, 'love'. Though these can have many meanings depending on the culture. And if that is truly the meaning, do we not want it a have a faulty foundation.
[Thus a quick google search says as I do not know flowers.
He waves back at the shadow assistants and just looks at the items and, well, hmmm. Yes. He'll go with sturdy fabrics then to wrap the pot tightly. The dirt will probably slip through but it will take more time. But it will be fancy colors and stylish at least!
He also takes the pot off the stage with a grunt of effort and put in front by Mr. Main Shadow.]
Our mutual interest is what allowed the conversation between myself and Cardinal Chases Dawn to grow into a friendship.
[He just smiles at the second part.]
Ah, but we are getting off topic. Our host is not able to take the stage, so one of us should. And it is clear that the talent to inspire and strike a figure is best suited for you. Not to mention you are alluring to look at.
Re: STAGE
[Though he will motion to the plant.]
A curious choice. Is it favored by someone?
Re: STAGE
Not sure about that one! Someone or another pulled it up for a performance and just left it there. Shame, isn't it? It's kind of pretty.
[But then they seem to fix their attention on Emet properly and-]
I'll say - are those Fragments?
Re: STAGE
[As he is speaking he is going up to the plant inspecting the crack and seeing if there is anything available to fix or transplant.]

Though he does pause a moment to lift the badge as much as possible to allow light to shine through it without removing it.]
Now why would you hope for such a thing?
Re: STAGE
The attendant lounges cheerfully, body posture casual.]
Even I'm an actor sometimes, when the stage calls. Maybe I just have a stronger sympathy for these things?
It's lonely to be unwanted, after all. Heh, maybe I should plan my next performance around putting some of the lesser used props to use!
Re: STAGE
[He motions to the plant.]
Though the base of the pot is cracked and I feel we ought to fix it. It not need be fancy. It is a shame to leave it be.
[And he goes to the props to see if he can find an overly large bucket assuming another planter pot does not exist.]
Re: STAGE
[A pause. Maybe he's winking?]
-And strictly asked not to take the stage myself. I'm just here to ask guests to do a little something to add some life to the party!
Re: STAGE
As for performing, I am hoping the beautiful lady will take the stage. She has more allure than I and ever did I enjoy working from the shadows.
[He pauses.]
How rude of me. Alexander.
What is your name?
Re: STAGE
Nice to meet you, Alexander! The name's █████.
[He makes all the gestures and movements of saying a name, but nothing is heard.]

Take good care of it.
Re: STAGE
Alright, I'll keep an eye on it!
Re: STAGE
[He attempts to pat the man on the shoulder.]
I will continue trying to convince the lady to perform, but I believe my time is better spent elsewhere.
[He does notice the concealed door, but there was a very shiny door in the front room. And how can he pass up that? That is where he heads.]
Re: STAGE
The attendant doesn't seem to notice, however.]
Enjoy!
[To the door!]
Re: STAGE
It seems we find ourselves in another shared dream.
Re: STAGE
It appears so. Are you going to perform? I imagine you have a multitude of skills.
Re: STAGE
[ a beat, and her lip quirks ] Or sow a field of rice.
—But each of those demands a bit more than can be contained on a single stage.
And you? I imagine you must be likewise talented, if perhaps in different endeavors.
Re: STAGE
A show of your battle skill would be impressive. I imagine it weaves into a dance quite beautiful. Though you would need to empty the stage.
My talents lie in the political and watching the stars. Neither of which are shown readily.

Could I help you set the stage?
Re: STAGE
Perhaps we might at least see how true it is that they have "props of just about everything" backstage.
Care to join me?
Re: STAGE
Re: STAGE
But very well; no doubt we will encounter one another again before we have achieved what this place needs of us.
