[ TALON IS ALSO HERE and has already summoned his weapon anxiously ]

[ Oh look... people have appeared again but the world is shaky and everyone looks stressed. There is a squirrel anxiously watching everyone?

Are you okay...? Friends? Does anyone need an acorn to feel better... ]

[Is that a squirrel.

He'll hold his hand out for her. Want to join them? He's got pockets she can stuff herself in.]

[ She scurries up into his outstretched hands when he reaches out for her and she dives inside of one of his pockets before her head peeks out to watch what is happening. ]

Pukyuu~!

[ Izzy has gained either +1 charisma or +1 insanity to his stats so long as he has 'Pukyuu' equipped ! ]

[ The entire heart shakes again.

The sky is choked with negativity as tendrils of doubt and darkness reach up from the depths of the earth to try and clutch at your heart, gripping it with a sudden weight, threatening to overwhelm it with despair. The feeling that you have failed before you even began creeps into your consciousness, reaching into the recesses of your soul to grip tight within invisible, black threads. Color, sound, sensation, everything disappears suddenly except for a deep void of nothingness that feeds upon your heart and feelings like greedy roots that have taken hold of you.

It is ugly and dark. How can you hope to win…?

[ This isn't any kind of boss battle Talon was expecting!! He plants the butt of his weapon firmly on the ground to steady himself, gritting his teeth and trying to keep his focus. How can he hope to win...? How can he afford to lose here?

Sanity roll: 18 ]

[ The corruption doesn't seem to hold any sway over upon those gathered here together... yet.

The ugly feeling recedes a little, fought off by your strength of will. But when you look down, you realize that while you were swept up, dark vines have loosely begun to entangle their way around your legs. They are easily shaken off for the moment, but there is no end to them. The earth continues to rumble and shake. Beneath the surface roots begin to tear themselves up from the ground, ripping through anything in their way as gigantic flowers begin to combine, growing and melding together and reaching skyward.

As the monstrous flowers begin to take shape, towering well above you, the serpentine-like form it begins to take is...distinctly like that of a dragon. It roars and the sound is-- pained. That’s the only way to put it. The dragon of flowers and vines thrashes around wildly, its tailing stomping the ground dangerously near the party.

For a moment there is a pause. The massive beast breathes heavily before empty eyes turn down to the party below-- and then it attacks.

Its attention first focuses in upon Susanoo. It lifts a massive claw into the air and with a powerful swipe, aims to send him flying off his feet. At the same time, its tail lashes around, and with a powerful swing strikes Izanagi directly in the chest before releasing a low rumble from deep within its throat. It's attention turns to Talon, then, and with an angry growl it snaps. ]

[8 attempt at dodging... somehow he thinks this is gonna hurt...

fortunately, he lucks out and it's only 1 damage.]

[Whoops, that's 2 points of damage, putting him at 8HP.]

[ 3 damage which is just deeply unfortunate ]

[Well... He does try to aim a kick since the tail is right there, but unfortunately a roll of 7+7 isn't sufficient, and he just barely misses.]

[ Injured or not, Talon's not going to miss this golden opportunity to strike with the beast this close. He swings the blade of his weapon down with as much force as he can at the beast's head

Damage: 4 ]

[AND UNFORTUNATELY, SUSANOO ONLY ADDS TO THE FAILURE WITH A 12 ATTEMPTED ATTACK.]

[ The dragon roars in pain as Talon's blow lands, and it shakes its head wildly, lifting a claw up to its head as though trying to paw the memory of the weapon away. Vines and flowers twist, break, and then mend, slithering across its body to at least visibly mend the wound, but it doesn't seem happy to have been injured, to begin with.

At once its attention turns back to its 'aggressors'. And Talon, the one responsible for it's initial pain, gains it's immediate attention. It charges forward, aiming to catch him within its sharp maw, intent on crunching bone. But it hasn't forgotten the others, either. Its tail whips around once more, smashing down from the sky to try and crush Susanoo beneath its weight. ]
