[ You all wake up in bed with your smartphone at your bedside, all of you in your sleepwear, with a message on your phone.

Good morning, newly departed guest stars! You've got new co-stars to meet, a new dorm to explore, and the television in the main room with the "names" of everyone in your unit with flashing empty boxes next to them, waiting for you to each assign yourself a personal color as well as a mythological creature (if that is available to you—some of you will have that option grayed out). Or assign them to each other, really, no one's stopping you.

Once you've chosen your color and creature (or, once it's chosen for you), your closets will unlock with 3 sets of traditional Japanese clothing fitted exactly to your size. Additionally, upon choosing your creature, you might find yourself suddenly with some new appendages (check Player Notes).

Also, the front door is currently locked. It looks like you actually have no choice but to get to know each other for an hour or two before those open up. ]

Do you have a weapon you can use?

Nothing aside from my own body at the moment. It is inconvenient. I intend to remedy the situation as soon as possible.

There are kama sickles, war fans, and weighted chains available in the dorm.

If you think you can make use of any of those, they're available and free.

I can use any of them, I believe. Though the sickles will probably work best. My thanks.

Will you change them out for something else, when you have the points available?

I will.

I prefer a grand daiklave. Though perhaps something smaller will suit this place better, as I am meant to carry it always.

I'm unfamiliar with the daiklave.

It is a large sword, created with a magical material. A regular sword would suit, as well. Or a glaive.

You'll have your chance. There are weapons available in the shop.

I will have a look, just as soon as I get points. I feel uncomfortable without a weapon at hand.

It shouldn't take long, given the exchange rate.
