[ You all wake up in bed with your smartphone at your bedside, all of you in your sleepwear, with a message on your phone.

Good morning, newly departed guest stars! You've got new co-stars to meet, a new dorm to explore, and the television in the main room with the "names" of everyone in your unit with flashing empty boxes next to them, waiting for you to each assign yourself a personal color as well as a mythological creature (if that is available to you—some of you will have that option grayed out). Or assign them to each other, really, no one's stopping you.

Once you've chosen your color and creature (or, once it's chosen for you), your closets will unlock with 3 sets of traditional Japanese clothing fitted exactly to your size. Additionally, upon choosing your creature, you might find yourself suddenly with some new appendages (check Player Notes).

Also, the front door is currently locked. It looks like you actually have no choice but to get to know each other for an hour or two before those open up. ]

[Taking a sheet of his own, and a pen, and considering]

[Taps the pen against her upper lip]

Should I write something for you...? I could write "happy" and stick it on you, I think it might work like that.

Green starts to appear around them like a low-level carpet. It's the most random "garden" of tiny sprouting flowers, leafy bushes, and vegetables.]

I wasn't sure if it was too vague.

[She seems pleased. Juri reaches down and plucks a flower, too, but when they disconnect with the floor both the vegetable and flower disappear.]

There are limitations, then.

I think it'll all disappear once I remove the paper, but we can enjoy it for now.

[Sits down on the greenery and runs her hands over the leaves.]

[Hesitates, and then sits beside her. His fingers trace a blade of grass]

Where I lived in my world, it's cold for most of the year. I love when the spring comes with the rain and when everything grows again.
