[ You all wake up in bed with your smartphone at your bedside, all of you in your sleepwear, with a message on your phone.

Good morning, newly departed guest stars! You've got new co-stars to meet, a new dorm to explore, and the television in the main room with the "names" of everyone in your unit with flashing empty boxes next to them, waiting for you to each assign yourself a personal color as well as a mythological creature (if that is available to you—some of you will have that option grayed out). Or assign them to each other, really, no one's stopping you.

Once you've chosen your color and creature (or, once it's chosen for you), your closets will unlock with 3 sets of traditional Japanese clothing fitted exactly to your size. Additionally, upon choosing your creature, you might find yourself suddenly with some new appendages (check Player Notes).

Also, the front door is currently locked. It looks like you actually have no choice but to get to know each other for an hour or two before those open up. ]

Definitely! Like...how to do laundry, and how to make dinner, and how to fix the kerosene heater in the winter before it smells too bad. So even if you aren't good at studying, you can be good at that other stuff! It's okay!

But there's so much more to life! Some of us will get to training on our own time--our needs are still valid!

Ohh, those ones sound fun. I've been waiting for the new Pink Princess vs. Silver Samurai game, but it keeps getting delayed.

Character-based strategy! But there's supposed to be a really great storyline where you learn how the Iron Infant goes through the time loop to become the evil Titanium Teen, like was hinted in the special story that was only available in the limited-edition deluxe laserdisc of the third movie!

Yeah! The Steel Samurai series is one of my favorites... I dunno if you watch that sort of hero type show...

Not really, but that's because my parents w- are kind of strict about it.

No, he's human--he just wears armor to protect his identity from the Evil Magistrate! As hero of Neo Olde Tokyo, there's obviously villains after him all the time.

...Probably my aunt didn't like me watching the show. But sure liked watching it.
