[ You all wake up in bed with your smartphone at your bedside, all of you in your sleepwear, with a message on your phone.

Good morning, newly departed guest stars! You've got new co-stars to meet, a new dorm to explore, and the television in the main room with the "names" of everyone in your unit with flashing empty boxes next to them, waiting for you to each assign yourself a personal color as well as a mythological creature (if that is available to you—some of you will have that option grayed out). Or assign them to each other, really, no one's stopping you.

Once you've chosen your color and creature (or, once it's chosen for you), your closets will unlock with 3 sets of traditional Japanese clothing fitted exactly to your size. Additionally, upon choosing your creature, you might find yourself suddenly with some new appendages (check Player Notes).

Also, the front door is currently locked. It looks like you actually have no choice but to get to know each other for an hour or two before those open up. ]

Harpy is great, so why wouldn't her team want to come see her? And apparently they've got somebody who's a great cook, and Harpy says she's going to cook, too.

No matter what they say to the alliance, we'll get real food out of it, for free.

That doesn't mean they shouldn't bring it to us--wait hand and foot! We've got a lot to offer!

Technically, we don't have anything to offer that any of the other teams don't have.

I'm fairly certain most of us have only one of the two and several of us have neither.

It's a tough job for the rest of us but we're used to having to cover you all!

As partner teams, we wouldn't act outside of each other's self-interests in games, right?

I'd think we would want to avoid it.

It will depend on whether everyone wants to partner on the violent games or on all of them, though.

Even if they don't, it shouldn't be anything to worry about, right?

I'm more concerned about them potentially opting out altogether.

...Well, all we can do is make sure there's enough of us they want to ally with that it outnumbers the people they don't wanna ally with. You're going to have to turn up the charm.
